You In Town

Proud of your hometown? Share its magic with travellers.

What it does

Imagine landing in a new city and, instead of googling 'top 10 things to do', you just ask someone who actually lives there. That's this app — a way to connect real travellers with real locals. No agencies, no tourist scripts, no bots. Just genuine people and genuine experiences. Get tips from someone who actually lives there.

We were always frustrated by the little effort made towards building agentic models that run on budget phones, so we conducted investigations that led to an observation: agentic experiences are built upon tool calling, and massive models are overkill for it. Tool calling is fundamentally retrieval-and-assembly (match query to tool name, extract argument values, emit JSON), not reasoning. Cross-attention…
