I built Yourabbit.com — a site that curates hand-picked YouTube rabbit holes grouped by themes like quirky psychology, obscure tech, weird facts, and binge-worthy oddities. It’s not driven by the YouTube algorithm — every collection is themed and curated manually (for now), with a backend I’m automating to fetch and organize new rabbit holes daily. Built as a hybrid Astro + Next.js project, optimized for static generation and speed. I’m also pairing videos with custom summaries and commentary (using AI), and would love feedback from the HN crowd on: Content model (too wide? not specific…

Hey HN, I just started learning Android this week in my free time and the XKCD Now comic inspired my first Android app! The app adds a large, transparent widget of the Now Comic to your android device. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.stdiostudios.now I will be posting my source on Github in the near future.

Hello there! I hope you're doing well today! I wanted to share something with you. Recently I was on the hunt for the best way to journal daily. Well, I had this idea - what if I could feed all my daily entries to an AI (ChatGPT), and create a friendly, supportive character like Socrates or Simon Sinek? I even made a short GIF to show you how it works - check it out! - https://gifyu.com/image/SdHLH I've…

I really struggle to keep my notes organised, and often can't make any sense of hand written notes after meetings. I did some experiments with Claude and ChatGPT where I blast random thoughts at them during a meeting or brainstorming session and then have them output a nice document that pulls it all together at the end. It worked incredibly well but it was a bit cumbersome to keep sending messages to the chat and telling the ai each time what to do. So I took the idea and built a tool, it makes it easy to throw random notes and voice recordings (images and document support on the way) and…

I was struggling to understand neuroscience and the word associations between technical terms and where the locations are (anatomically) And quite some of my neuroscience friends are loving it.

https://gist.github.com/ivmirx/66a0015884d44297ea05a8c54d935... Sharing this simple thing because it really saves me time in the last weeks. I don't need to comb through news about tech I don't use, "celebrities" or the US anymore. And no more slipping into their comments to procrastinate.
