Hi HN! I made a really quick web app to help people validate their ideas. The app is a simple landing page builder, but every page includes a really simple Yes/No "Are You Interested?" poll. Every vote is recorded and tracked, and if they click yes they are brought to a page where they can submit an email. This makes validating ideas super easy because you can post your link to different communities and get statistically significant results as well as build an email list. I have always found it funny how challenging it can be to find people to jam on side projects with. There are literally entire sub-Reddits where people post looking for someone to work on a project with. That is super inefficient. There are also newsletters for this (also pretty inefficient). Hi all, I find literature searches to be slow and despite all the tools nowadays, it is difficult to map out vast areas of research and then connect my ideas to what I’m trying to do (e.g. writing a review, learning something new, planning a new project, assignments, etc). Some of my peers and teachers also found this to be a problem so I built this MVP app to help people not only leverage AI search capabilities but also go on to connect their ideas, map out research projects, cite various results and organise their “stream of consciousness” as they work. After every batch of customer interviews/research/feedback sessions, I'd run ideas through an LLM to help me decide what we should build next. Except it was obvious to my cofounder I wasn't really validating anything. Hey everyone, I've been experimenting with collaborative learning and active learning for a while (I launched Coderoulette a couple of months ago) and I'm launching something new today that I'm really excited about. Online learning is pretty passive (video lectures) and lonely, and I think we could create an online learning experience much engaging and effective than that.
