Products that do what A Repository of Recruiter Email Domains and Email Filter Automation does

I've found it useful to maintain email filters for technical recruitment companies so that I can separate these from my other email and review at a time when I can give them the attention required, depending on whether I'm currently looking for work. This takes regular maintenance and so I've created a repository along with some scripts for automating the filter strings for my GMail account. The hope is that others may find this useful and contribute domains to the repository. Note that as per the README, this is NOT a spam list. Recruiter email is essential for finding work. This is just to…

I made a tool for myself to act as a filter for recruiter messages. I was tired of getting vague messages and doing the typical messaging back and forth only to hear the salary was too low or the job didn't have remote. The tool lets you create a form with a selection of only the filters you want on there. You give a unique link to recruiters that will take them to the your form They can fill in your form (or not) If their responses pass your filters you'll get an email. If their responses fail your filters, the recruiter gets an email saying so, so they know not to bother you again. The…

The two most useful email filters that I have on my personal account automatically move the following messages to a "from-robots" folder: * Any message that contains the word "unsubscribe" * Any message from no-reply@ As a side note: please do not send emails from [email protected] If you want users to engage with your communications you need to give them an option to respond.

Hey folks. Rolepad is a product born out of my dissatisfaction with hiring processes - both as a candidate and as a hiring manager. Processes that are non-transparent, inefficient, and full of frustration for both sides. This early iteration has focused on the application tracking aspects with a few extra goodies. These days it is common to apply to dozens of positions (some users track over a hundred opportunities). Without a record-keeping system, it can quickly become an unmanageable mess. Even the better-organized among us often end up juggling spreadsheets, emails, and various notes.…

Hi HN :) really excited to share this with you. The one thing AI reliably does is generate noise. Half the tools I see launch are just machines for producing more noise across more channels. And people are starting to see this in the form of emails in their inboxes as spam filters are struggling. There used to be a useful signal in email: the effort a sender put into customizing a message was a rough proxy for how relevant it actually was. AI killed that. Now it's customized slop with the appearance of effort with none of the cost. It is painful that the open internet / open channels…

(not sure why my previous post didn't appear on Show HN even though I included it in the title, mods please remove if not allowed) Ever applied for a job and never heard back? Many companies just go silent instead of sending rejection emails, leaving you guessing whether to keep waiting or move on. I faced this frustration during my own internship search, especially when there was no real point of contact (automated replies don't count, lol). So, I built didtheyghost.me, a simple open-source tool that crowdsources job application responses. This isn't a job scraper or another job board. It's…
