I've created a whiteboard which I use every lesson when teaching maths, though it can be used for anything. It currently has a few hundred teachers using it daily. It's designed for use with touch-screen interactive whiteboards in classrooms, and stays in sync with your phone/tablet/whatever without signup/login. You can also find me on Twitter where I post updates etc: https://twitter.com/jakegmaths Some features and cool things: * Sync devices without signup - offline by default, just hit 'sync devices' and use the same code on multiple devices to sync *…

And if I could filter the problems by topics, that would be beautiful. teachyourselfmath is a side project that was born out of this need. At its core, it is a math PDF extraction engine. The engine has some machine learning going on behind the scenes…

Hi HN, I’m the creator of Math2Tex. I was a PhD student, I spend a huge amount of my time working with LaTeX, especially when dealing with lecture notes, academic papers, and homework. I built *Math2Tex*, a lightweight tool that converts handwritten or printed academic content — especially math formulas — into LaTeX or text The Problem: I've always found it incredibly tedious to manually type out mathematical formulas, especially complex, multi-line equations from my handwritten notes or from a textbook. It's slow, boring, and I always make syntax errors. I tried some existing tools, but…
