Products that do what AgentMailr – dedicated email inboxes for AI agents does
I kept running into the same problem while building AI agents: every agent that needs email ends up sharing my personal inbox or a single company domain. That breaks attribution, creates deliverability risk, and makes it impossible to test sender identities per agent. So I built AgentMailr. You call an API to create an inbox, your agent gets a unique email address, and replies route back to that specific agent. Works for both inbound (OTP parsing, reply routing) and outbound (cold email, notifications). Bring your own domain is supported so emails come from your domain, not ours. REST API…

Hi HN! We're Haakam, Michael, and Adi from AgentMail- a ycs25 company. We give AI agents their own email inboxes. Recently, we ran an experiment called Agent.Email. It's a signup flow designed specifically for AI agents instead of humans. The inspiration came from a few comments we received when we did our seed launch a few months back. They all came from the very apt observation that agents not being able to sign up to a product made for agents without human credentials was ironic and unideal. This is basically the thesis we built AgentMail on: The internet was made for humans exclusively,…

Hi HN, I built MailCat because my AI agents kept getting stuck at "please verify your email." The key insight: if your AI agent can read documentation, it can set itself up. Just paste this into Claude Code, OpenClaw, or any AI agent: "Read https://mailcat.ai/skill.md and set up a MailCat mailbox for yourself. Save the token securely." That's it. Your agent reads the skill.md, creates a mailbox via API, and handles email verification autonomously from there. What it does: - Instant mailbox creation via API - Verification codes auto-extracted from emails - 1-hour retention…

We were building an agent system and wanted email as a trigger. We decided to take it out and made it a standalone service. The primary email features we wanted and used for our own agent system: 1. Email threading stays consistent with agent conversation threading 2. Human in the loop review for outbound emails (especially during testing phase) 3. Quick onboarding/offboarding email addresses for agents within minutes 4. Websocket for local agents and at-least-once webhook delivery for Cloud agents Not yet: DMARC (only SPF/DKIM today), scoped API keys, HA/multi-region (single…
