I wanted to create an accessible alternative to the official Pico pinout image, offering more complete pin details, light/dark modes, screen-readable text, and at least some capacity to focus on the peripherals you’re interested in. It’s a sister site to the now ancient Raspberry Pi pinout (https://pinout.xyz/) which started out life hosted on a Raspberry Pi.

I was experimenting with ways to store pinout data to generate the Pico pinout website [1] rather than hand-editing HTML- and got carried away. I have realized that a lot of people nowadays self-host services and set up home labs with mini racks. One major pain point I have come across personally is to quickly get health status from self-hosted services and machines, and have the ability to headlessly control my Raspberry Pi inside a mini rack. Pico is an open-source alternative to Ngrok. Unlike most other open-source tunnelling solutions, Pico is designed to serve production traffic and be simple to host (particularly on Kubernetes). This is the third camera I've designed/made around the raspberry pi parts/ecosystem. The repo has all the STL files, parts list, most wiring diagrams. The first one was the custom Pi Zero HQ cam which was featured on a Hackaday article/podcast. The modular version (aside from being able to swap cameras) mostly has the latest software. I've been hacking away lately, and I'm now proud to show off my newest project - The Icepi Zero! In case you don't know what an FPGA is, this phrase summarizes it perfectly: "FPGAs work like this. You don't tell them what to do, you tell them what to BE." You don't program them, but you rewrite the circuits they contain!
