I've been experimenting with ways to increase AI adoption for non-technical people. Basically, all companies are pushing for AI because it's all over the news and they feel left behind but most people have no clue where to start. I think 90% of people (ie non coders) are sufficiently well served by using cowork instead of claude code or something similar. Based on the multiple "Who's hiring remotely?" and similar posts on HN, I thought it might be useful to have a site that aggregates remote programming jobs. There is way too much spam out and an inconsistent way to say "work from home" so traditional searching doesn't work (or rather, takes a long time per person). I vibe-coded a small project that turns the “Ask HN: Who is hiring?” thread into searchable job data using OpenAI, PostgreSQL, and Metabase. It looks for jobs posted on Hacker News Who’s Hiring from the past 3 months: https://colab.research.google.com/drive/12wt7cjhIUKf1Vu2rRFO... To use it, click Runtime > Run All. It compiles codebases into O(1) hashmaps that the agent queries to discover the structure of your code/answer questions/write code. It also does complete static analysis checks on any writes the agent makes. Don't take my word for it though.
