Products that do what A registry for curated, high quality Claude skills and skillsets does

Hi Hacker News! I’m Ritam, working with the small but mighty team at Nori. We’ve been obsessed in recent months with how to take tools like Claude Code from “I’ll experiment around with this” to “This is the most useful and necessary thing I use every day”. When I first sat down with our team to check out what they’d built, I found my skepticism about agentic coding melting away—they’d built useful, high quality, handwritten skills, instructions that functioned as “skillsets” to tie skills together for consistent and replicable results, and tooling to manage loading the right context for the…

I've been experimenting with ways to increase AI adoption for non-technical people. Basically, all companies are pushing for AI because it's all over the news and they feel left behind but most people have no clue where to start. I think 90% of people (ie non coders) are sufficiently well served by using cowork instead of claude code or something similar. If we can get people from sales, customer support, marketing, etc to collaborate with skills and cowork to form a company brain, I think it's gold. So I think there's opportunity for the community to share skills that work well for 1000s of…

Hi, we're Sergey and Serafim. We've been building dev tools at 21st.dev and recently open-sourced 1Code (https://1code.dev), a local UI for Claude Code. Here's a video of the product: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sgk9Z-nAjC0 Claude Code has been our go-to for 4 months. When Opus 4.5 dropped, parallel agents stopped needing so much babysitting. We started trusting it with more: building features end to end, adding tests, refactors. Stuff you'd normally hand off to a developer. We started running 3-4 at once. Then the CLI became annoying: too many terminals, hard to…

Hola HN! Long time lurker, sometimes commentor, first time poster here. I’ve been working alongside my two co-founders and a few colleagues on a project I’m excited (and a little nervous) to share with you all! Like many of us, I’ve lived a tortured existence with AI coding (is it vibes?) over the past few months - I think November was a big moment with this. But, one thing I’ve noticed after building orchestration layer after orchestration layer is that the thing I always came back to was “what the hell is Claude Code actually doing?” Perhaps it’s because of the time Claude Code got…

Creating high-quality skills for Claude manually is complex, requiring specific technical knowledge of the file system structure (like SKILL.md), YAML metadata configuration, and precise prompt engineering to ensure the agent behaves correctly. MakeSkill eliminates this friction by automating the technical implementation. Instead of writing code and configuration files from scratch, users interact with MakeSkill's AI to refine their ideas. The platform then generates the complete, optimized skill package—following all best practices—ready to be downloaded and imported directly into Claude…

At my work they provided a single Claude subscription for everyone on the team. To be honest I like kiro better as it provides a way better SDD management. But the company can't provide it and I can't afford it yet. Turns out I had the skill creator skill in my claude instance so I made use of it to create this Skill. I made it fully by using Claude but I wanted to make it open source, so I asked it to help me make tests and preparations for it, even a CI to run python tests. Well, we got this results with it: - Phase 2A: 67 static assertions (Python script, runs in CI) - Phase 2B: 15…

Hey HN, I noticed there are 1,000+ MCP skills on GitHub with zero way for creators to charge for them. So I built Agent37. Selling Claude skills today means asking customers to download your skill, set up Claude Code on their laptops, configure MCP servers, and pray it works. No trial, no updates, often you're just handing over the source. Agent37 lets creators upload a skill, share a link, and anyone can try it instantly (no Claude account needed). Built-in Stripe, creators keep 80%. Looking for feedback on the approach. Would you use something like this?

Saw the remotion claude skills launch earlier, and honestly even though I was surprised how decent some of the results turned out to be I ended up never trying it out with claude code because I knew I'd have to setup remotion, bundler etc and if I was already doing it once I thought I might as well turn it into a site where anyone could just write messages and get a video without any prerequisites. I also know Claude Code is not something everyone has and setting up remotion is a pain. And one of the biggest lessons I learned from this whole experience is that Opus is actually not that good…

A bunch of companies that I spoke to had their own claude & codex OTel dashboards that showed spend + seats per month. However, none of the dashboards actually analyzed how the engineers worked with the tools and if there were any areas for improvement! That's why I created https://www.promptster.ai. Managers get aggregate level view of code quality and how that ties with team workflows (nothing on a per-engineer level). While engineers get personalized coaching on how they can save tokens while keeping output high. We also have a tool built for individuals to test their local…

Hey HN! I wanted to show this tiny JRPG style hardware companion I built that shows what your Claude Code is doing. When Claude runs a tool, Clawy runs. When it's done, Clawy jumps up in joy. Shake the device and Clawy gets dazed! When Claude needs permission to run something, it shows the command and context like a video game quest scrolling text on screen and you can approve/deny with physical buttons. He runs on a $20 M5StickC Plus 2. Flashing takes 2 minutes from the browser at clawy.lol/flash, no Arduino IDE needed. It uses Claude Code's native hook system over local WiFi and…

We built an open-source library of 125 GTM (go-to-market) skills that plug into AI coding agents like Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor. With these skills an AI agent can automatically: - Find ICP leads from conference speakers, LinkedIn activity, or job boards - Generate personalized cold email sequences - Monitor competitor blogs, pricing pages, and hiring signals - Generate programmatic SEO pages from keyword lists - Track where your brand appears in ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude answers --- How skills work Each skill is a structured markdown file containing instructions, scripts, and tool…

Hi y'all. Been working on something that should've been made a long time ago imo. It compiles codebases into O(1) hashmaps that the agent queries to discover the structure of your code/answer questions/write code. It also does complete static analysis checks on any writes the agent makes. Don't take my word for it though. Here are the benchmarks: https://benzi.fly.dev/benchmark. on 2/20 tests, Claude Code (mostly Sonnet on one task) regressed or timed out. Benzi didn't because of course, it has a map it can query and not get lost in the sauce. On the other 18 it…

Hey HN, I wanted to share an open source plugin + skills I put together that turn Claude Code into a job search assistant. The goal is to minimize the amount of time needed to find interesting and relevant jobs. How it works: 1. Clone the repo, install the plugin, and run `/job-search` 2. Claude will ask a few questions to understand the roles you’re interested in and save your preferences locally. 3. Claude will then pull live job postings (currently, LinkedIn Jobs), compare posts against your preferences, and generate a digest of the posts that are relevant. 4. [Optionally] Claude…

I've been working on this internal project initially both to learn more Vibe-Coding but also to help our teams and projects to use AI more efficiently. As more people used it, it grew to support multiple teams/projects to analyze their Claude Code conversation and optimize them over time (understanding how to write better conversation with Claude Code and share knowledge between them) With time we added support for multiple Claude account management and monitor usage/rate limit. This is a simple project but has proved to be quite useful for our company. We have reached 5000+…

Claude Code / Codex session metadata can actually tell a story about how you work with AI coding agents. 50 days ago we posted about analyzing 1.6k Claude Code sessions from our own team. Skills were used in 4% of sessions, 26% were abandoned early, and we had no real benchmark for what good looked like. Now across 20k+ sessions, we started looking at behavior patterns from derived session metadata: consistency, intensity, session shape, repo breadth, output, cost intensity, and model range. Nine archetypes fell out, which we turned into playful cards. We built a Spotify Wrapped meets…
