I've been experimenting with ways to increase AI adoption for non-technical people. Basically, all companies are pushing for AI because it's all over the news and they feel left behind but most people have no clue where to start. I think 90% of people (ie non coders) are sufficiently well served by using cowork instead of claude code or something similar. Ok so over the last 9 days I built lmpify. my personal driver was i want to replace claude because it's annoying. Their Claude3.7 model is perfect for coding, but the Claude.ai interface doesn't cut it for me for these reasons: - Very slow to start up and TTFT is terrible. lmpify hits within 100ms and doesn't need to wait for pageload to start seeing result, result is already starting in DO as soon as you submit. - Claude doesn't support URLs out of the box. The main goal of this was to be able to not just run multiple Claude Code sessions at once, but actually manage them and keep track of what I was doing. Sometimes this is multiple attempts on the same task, sometimes I work several tasks at once. I went nuts on Sunday after stumbling on this animator script for the automatic branch: https://github.com/Animator-Anon/Animator And then it's a ton of keyframing. I also found that the timings all have to be earlier than the timestamp you want to account for how long it takes to denoise to your new scene - so like .4 gives smoother but longer, .7 is snappy. I participated in the Nvidia + Vercel 2 hour hackathon in SF tonight, and built something I've wanted, but hadn't tried building. I implemented an MCP Server and VS Code extension to allow Claude Desktop to place breakpoints, step through code, and execute expressions (assuming language support). So you can ask it a question that requires actually stepping through the code and now it can actually do that - check values for you, etc. It's _definitely_ not perfect. Have improvements?
