Saw the remotion claude skills launch earlier, and honestly even though I was surprised how decent some of the results turned out to be I ended up never trying it out with claude code because I knew I'd have to setup remotion, bundler etc and if I was already doing it once I thought I might as well turn it into a site where anyone could just write messages and get a video without any prerequisites. I participated in the Nvidia + Vercel 2 hour hackathon in SF tonight, and built something I've wanted, but hadn't tried building. I implemented an MCP Server and VS Code extension to allow Claude Desktop to place breakpoints, step through code, and execute expressions (assuming language support). So you can ask it a question that requires actually stepping through the code and now it can actually do that - check values for you, etc. It's _definitely_ not perfect. Have improvements? I hit my Claude Code usage limit yesterday in the middle of regular work. Not doing anything unusual - just a couple of coding sessions. It felt like it came out of nowhere. Ok so over the last 9 days I built lmpify. my personal driver was i want to replace claude because it's annoying. Their Claude3.7 model is perfect for coding, but the Claude.ai interface doesn't cut it for me for these reasons: - Very slow to start up and TTFT is terrible. lmpify hits within 100ms and doesn't need to wait for pageload to start seeing result, result is already starting in DO as soon as you submit. - Claude doesn't support URLs out of the box. I've been improving the backend using a MCTS/AlphaZero approach and it's currently producing much better results. My long term goal is to allow users to manage multiple projects, deployed autonomously, both from scratch and by making continual updates all prompted with natural language. I'm a C++ dev and do not find claude code work well with C++ toolchain like gdb and perf. The current version has integrations for gdb, clang-tidy, cppcheck, sanitizers, perf, benchmarking, compile DB navigation, Godbolt, symbolization, binary inspection, and decompilation. Hi all, I threw together a small prototype I am calling “Notepad.ai”. A new take on UIs for interacting with LLMs. While I enjoy using LLM’s in the chat format I wanted to see what it would be like to do it in a more long form style. I had 14,000 photos sitting on a drive and wanted an excuse to play with local vision models and Elixir/Phoenix. I originally tried to get LLaVA to tell me if a photo was 'good' or matched my style, but quickly learned that LLMs have terrible taste. I ended up demoting the LLM to just extract metadata, and built a custom CLIP/Ridge Regression pipeline to actually learn my preferences based on how I rate things. Mixtral 8x7B is a new AI model from the Mistral family, which outperforms GPT-3 in many benchmarks, a fact that I have personally confirmed in daily coding tasks, where Mistral 8x7B was the clear winner. I wanted to share a project I have been working on over the past week. It is a simple local memory system that saves your sessions into Markdown files, which can be viewed later. I developed this after using Claude Mem. I really enjoyed working with it, but it was consuming a lot of RAM, and each Claude session was becoming a major resource hog. I also tried other plugins and MCP solutions, but ran into similar issues, either slow performance or concerns about data being sent elsewhere. Because privacy was a big thing for me, I decided to build my own solution that keeps all data local.

It took me about a week to vibe code this 3D game engine with Opus 4.6 that I intend to use as a replacement for Three.js and React Three Fiber in my browser MMORPG, Mana Blade.
