I participated in the Nvidia + Vercel 2 hour hackathon in SF tonight, and built something I've wanted, but hadn't tried building. I implemented an MCP Server and VS Code extension to allow Claude Desktop to place breakpoints, step through code, and execute expressions (assuming language support). So you can ask it a question that requires actually stepping through the code and now it can actually do that - check values for you, etc. It's _definitely_ not perfect. Have improvements? I wanted to share a project I have been working on over the past week. It is a simple local memory system that saves your sessions into Markdown files, which can be viewed later. I developed this after using Claude Mem. I really enjoyed working with it, but it was consuming a lot of RAM, and each Claude session was becoming a major resource hog. I also tried other plugins and MCP solutions, but ran into similar issues, either slow performance or concerns about data being sent elsewhere. Because privacy was a big thing for me, I decided to build my own solution that keeps all data local.

Hi y'all. Been working on something that should've been made a long time ago imo. It compiles codebases into O(1) hashmaps that the agent queries to discover the structure of your code/answer questions/write code. It also does complete static analysis checks on any writes the agent makes. Don't take my word for it though. Saw the remotion claude skills launch earlier, and honestly even though I was surprised how decent some of the results turned out to be I ended up never trying it out with claude code because I knew I'd have to setup remotion, bundler etc and if I was already doing it once I thought I might as well turn it into a site where anyone could just write messages and get a video without any prerequisites. I also know Claude Code is not something everyone has and setting up remotion is a pain. And one of the biggest lessons I learned from this whole experience is that Opus is actually not that good…

Hey! https://claudecrowd.clodhost.com I made clodhost for an easy to use and share web interface to Claude Code, running on its own vps… and then I realized it’d make it easy to implement an idea I’ve had for a long time… basically Wikipedia but the website CODE is produced peer-to-peer. Anybody on the web can submit a prompt, and up/downvote other prompts, and every ten minutes the top one gets submitted to Claude! Anyway, I think it works?
