Hey HN, I'm really proud to share with you my new open source project: Kestra https://github.com/kestra-io/kestra I created a few years ago a successful open source AKHQ project: https://github.com/tchiotludo/akhq (renamed from KafkaHQ) which has been adopted by big companies like Best Buy, Pipedrive, BMW, Decathlon and many more. 2300 stars, 120 contributors, 10M docker downloads, much more than I expected. Now let's talk about Kestra, an infinitely scalable orchestration and scheduling platform for creating, running, scheduling and monitoring…

Built DAGForge to make generating and validating Airflow DAGs much faster. Most AI tools produce broken or incomplete DAGs, so I added: Airflow-aware validation (operators, imports, params) Syntax + security checks Deterministic JSON parsing to avoid hallucinations Support for local or cloud LLMs Would love feedback from data engineers and Airflow users. Hey HN! Anibal, Sean, Vlad, Maxi and Karim here we're the co-founders of Kerno (https://www.kerno.io/). We're building a zero-hassle tool to help developers monitor and troubleshoot their services in a way that makes sense. No complex rollouts, no custom infra, no tons of instrumentation, no sidecars… none of that! Just a minimum effort, out-of-the box, highly contextualized and interactive experience so you and your team can focus on shipping! We basically scan your cluster resources, build usable abstractions on top of all the kubernetes craziness, identify monitor your…

Opsflow cofounder here! We launched a bunch of things recently, some of them well received (Terragen, AWS Bootstrap). It's no secret that AWS is hard, and our mission is to make it simple. What HN crowd helped us realise is that the UI was still not simple enough. Rather confusing in fact. So in the last couple weeks we have radically simplified it based on your feedback. We have removed the unnecessarily complex concepts like Services and Environments - it's just Apps now. All options are now on the new Settings screen. Instead of Infrastructure and Software deployments there is now a…

Hi HN! We’re Yann, Edouard, and Bastien from Koyeb (https://www.koyeb.com/). We’re building a platform to let you deploy full-stack apps on high-performance hardware around the world, with zero configuration. We provide a “global serverless feeling”, without the hassle of re-writing all your apps or managing k8s complexity [1]. We built Scaleway, a cloud service provider where we designed ARM servers and provided them as cloud servers. During our time there, we saw customers struggle with the same issues while trying to deploy full-stack applications and APIs resiliently. As…

Hi HN folks, I'm a co-creator of the Dapr CNCF project and co-founder of Diagrid. Today we announced a free-to-use web app that takes any form of workflow diagram (UML, BPMN, scribble in your favorite drawing tool or even on paper) and generates code that runs in any IDE and that can be deployed to Kubernetes and other container based systems, based on Dapr's durable execution workflow engine. This essentially allows you to run durable workflows in minutes and leaves out the guesswork for how to structure, code and optimize a code-first workflow app. I'm happy for you to give this a try and…

Hi HN. Today we released Dagster Cloud to general availability [1], which includes a new feature you can try that we're calling Branch Deployments. Branch Deployments were inspired by Vercel's Preview Deployments feature and deep GitHub integration. We're hoping we can bring a similar developer experience improvement to the data domain. I have created a Cron alternative that runs DAGs (Directed acyclic graph) defined in a simple YAML format. Why not Airflow? Airflow and other similar tools are powerful and valuable, but in most cases, they require writing code to manage workflows. Our ETL pipeline is already hundreds of thousands of lines of complex code in Perl and shell scripts. Adding another layer of Python on top of this would make it difficult to maintain. Instead, we needed a more lightweight solution. So we developed Dagu, which requires no coding, and is easy-to-use and self-contained, making it ideal for smaller…

Hello Everyone! We built SQLFlow as a lightweight stream processing engine. We leverage DuckDB as the stream processing engine, which gives SQLFlow the ability to process 10's of thousands of messages a second using ~250MiB of memory! DuckDB also supports a rich ecosystem of sinks and connectors! https://sql-flow.com/docs/category/tutorials/ https://github.com/turbolytics/sql-flow We were tired of running JVM's for simple stream processing, and also of bespoke one off stream processors I would love your feedback, criticisms and/or…
