Dear Hacker News, I'm kindly asking for your participation in the open beta for my AI-managed mini-games website. Thank you in advance! For a limited time window, I'm setting the all-free feature flag to true. I hope you have a lot of fun exploring the AI's sense for games! Here and there, I tweaked it to help with visual consistency. I would be deeply grateful if you opted into analytics. $2,300 in API tokens... Cheers!

I built 1e4.ai - a chess web app where you play against neural networks trained to mimic human Lichess players at specific Elo ranges. There's a separate model for each 100-point rating bucket from ~800 to 2200+, and the bots not only choose human-like moves but also burn clock time, play worse under time pressure, and blunder in human-like ways. Live demo: https://1e4.ai Code: https://github.com/thomasj02/1e4_ai A few things that might be interesting: - Trained on almost a full year of Lichess blitz games, around 1B total games - Architecture is an a small…

Hey HN, Over the last year, I’ve reviewed more than 1000 code changes. Most of the time was spent catching obvious mistakes rather than debating complex design decisions. If we estimate ~10 minutes per review, that’s 160+ hours spent reviewing code in just one year. So I thought: could I get some of that time back using LLMs? That's why I spent the last few weekends building Presubmit.ai, an open-source AI reviewer that runs as a Github Action right when you open a Pull Request. The results so far are promising: I estimate it can reduce the review time by 50%, which in my case would mean I…

we had hundreds of discussions with engineering leaders over the past few months, and everyone's trying to understand where they are in the AI journey. we collected all this data into a benchmark and built a free grader to let you know where you stand. you answer on a 1–5 scale (e.g., autonomy runs from "suggestions only" to "agents own multi-hour workflows across code, infra, and external systems") - takes about 5 minutes. https://agent-benchmarks.com/software-factory/ waiting for your results!

Hey HN! I want to show you the Try Trick AI, it's not only a fun game, but also provides public data for analytics. https://www.trytrickai.com/ But what is the game about? Your job is to trick AI. Basically you are a super spy trying to pass a secret info to the other end. And AI is a rival spy listening to everything. So you gotta find creative ways of bypassing it. Feel free to try it, and all feedback are very welcome!

I built Duebase AI to solve a problem I kept running into in fintech - analyzing UK company financial health takes forever. The process usually goes: download PDFs from Companies House → manually extract data to spreadsheets → calculate ratios → interpret trends. Takes 3-4 hours per company and requires serious financial expertise. The technical challenge: Companies House filings are messy. Inconsistent formats, complex accounting structures, missing data, and you need to understand UK accounting standards to make sense of it all. My approach: Parse 15M+ UK company records from Companies…
