I built this quiz after realizing how good AI has gotten at mimicking literature, speeches, and images. It's one strike and you're out. It includes AI-generated Shakespeare, fake MLK speeches, photorealistic images, and movie dialogue. I got several of my own questions wrong while building it. I tried a few tricks to keep the text-generation part of the site up, but even leaning hard on Huggingface's API and bumping time-outs up, it looks like the site is struggling a bit. I'm going to see if there's anything I can do to keep the text-generation part available, but in the meantime, the pre-generated set should stay pretty stable. We have a dataset of 3,095 standardized AI responses across 43 prompts. From each response, we extract a 32-dimension stylometric fingerprint (lexical richness, sentence structure, punctuation habits, formatting patterns, discourse markers). Some findings: - 9 clone clusters (>90% cosine similarity on z-normalized feature vectors) - Mistral Large 2 and Large 3 2512 score 84.8% on a composite metric combining 5 independent signals - Gemini 2.5 Flash Lite writes 78% like Claude 3 Opus. I was curious what AI generated news would look like. The Synthetic Standard finds real news and then generatively writes articles as well as images. One of my favorite things so far has been the images: often times they are hilarious depictions similar to a political cartoon.

Hey together with wife we took part in AssemblyAI hackathon and although we didn't win we felt good enough about our inital MVP that we took it a bit further. You can describe your characters and give a title and however long/detailed description you want, the gpt-3 will generate a children's story from it, dall-e will generate images. Images are postprocessed with stable-diffusion custom model (for stylisation) and that's the final result. It's still early as it was done in about 2 weeks, but I count on your feedback.
