Products that do what ccMarvin – Just Email with AI does
Backstory: My name is Michael Stoppelman, I'm a super angel (300+ investments, I've invested in YC companies like Vanta, Flexport, Biorender, Permitflow and Canary Technologies). Prior to that I built and ran the engineering team at Yelp. I thought there was a missing piece to the LLMs where they couldn't talk via email which is where as an investor I work all day. So I built ccMarvin so I could forward emails for summaries, I could get legal feedback on SAFEs or other transactional emails, I could get newsletters on sectors like AI / Space or specific folks I want to follow. I don't…

Hey HN, I’ve been working on ElevateSells — an AI sales agent designed to take the pain out of cold outreach for solo founders and small teams. Here’s how it works: You ask the AI to generate leads or manually use the advanced lead search built in tool. You tell the AI what your business does and what problem it solve. It writes very personalized cold emails, sends them, and follows up — all automatically. You still control the voice and audience — the AI just handles the research, writing, timing, and sending. I built it after burning out managing multiple tools for lead gen, email copy,…

Hey there, While searching for my next role as a PM in Blockchain + AI, I started building an AI-powered notetaker called MindNote: https://www.mindnote.online. The idea is simple: you input your thoughts, and AI helps you complete or modify them. If you decide to test it, try using the prompt: Keep this text and…"(add budget, complete list, organize alphabetically, add their translation, etc.). The first big release is all about modifying your notes with AI prompts. The next big step? Capturing thoughts directly from the mind using brain-to-text technology. There is a 3 days free…

Hey HN, I’m a solopreneur and have been in the SaaS space for the past 3 years. My last 3 startups failed, and a common challenge in all of them was figuring out how to reach my audience. Recently I started with cold outreach (its a struggle, since I dont have much experience with marketing). I am finding leads mainly using exa.ai websets (web vector search, extremelly good for multiple use cases, recommend checking them out) and then sending them through smartlead. I ran the campaign for the past 30 days and 12-15% emails always bounced. This wasted my email credits & chances of reaching…

I've been working on a platform that uses LLMs to turn any random idea into 2-3 minute episodes - one of the newer ones is JARS Tank, where you can pitch inventions to a panel of AI investors. Would love to hear your thoughts!

Hi HN, I built MailCat because my AI agents kept getting stuck at "please verify your email." The key insight: if your AI agent can read documentation, it can set itself up. Just paste this into Claude Code, OpenClaw, or any AI agent: "Read https://mailcat.ai/skill.md and set up a MailCat mailbox for yourself. Save the token securely." That's it. Your agent reads the skill.md, creates a mailbox via API, and handles email verification autonomously from there. What it does: - Instant mailbox creation via API - Verification codes auto-extracted from emails - 1-hour retention…

I used to run a startup back in 2018 where I built highly relevant prospect leads for companies manually. This is an Ai agent that does what I used to do manually - source, curate, enrich, qualify leads, and find the right decision makers with contact information. The Ai agent builds a custom database of leads automatically We just upgraded the new UI as well as made our agents smarter. Check out the new website: https://kurationai.com/ Demo: https://youtu.be/KmlGnP3dzkE?si=N6FZwNubi70hS4nJ Use "PHK15" to get 15% off on any plan. Thanks, Aurelien, Founder,…

I just shipped something I’ve needed for years - a more efficient email client. I finally built Omnia OS because my inbox turned into a landfill of AI-generated noise. If you're going to email me going forward, I suggest including a more compelling subject and opening line, otherwise all emails from unknown people will not make it to my inbox. AI draft-suggestion tools never solved the real problem: finding the messages, files, or company I actually need to follow up with. After securing AI systems for a living, I know how easy it is to weaponize prompt injection, so bolting AI onto email…

Hey folks, I'm Yuval. I run a tiny startup called Glitter AI. It's just me full-time here, with a couple of freelances to help here and there. A couple of months ago, I went from managing zero requests to hundreds -- overnight (won Product of the day on Product Hunt). As someone who gets VERY easily distracted (maybe you relate), I had to find some sort of way of handling all the chaos if I didn't want to burn out. I came up with a pretty cool automation flow that I thought folks on HN here may be interested in reading about :) So here goes: Most of my interactions come through Intercom.…

Hey HN! Thank you for all the support and feedback on my original submission 2 months ago. I've been improving the backend using a MCTS/AlphaZero approach and it's currently producing much better results. My long term goal is to allow users to manage multiple projects, deployed autonomously, both from scratch and by making continual updates all prompted with natural language. The cost of each project has been lowered to $9 as performance with smaller models has improved (I migrated from Claude-3-Opus to gemini-1.5-flash). Thanks for checking it out!

I got tired of slogging through walls of legal text whenever I had to sign something important, so I built a Chrome extension that uses AI to: - Spot red flags and suspicious clauses – It automatically highlights risk areas in real-time as you read through an online contract. - Score the contract’s safety – Based on industry-standard risk parameters, it gives you an at-a-glance score so you can see how risky the document might be. - Simplify the jargon – It generates a quick summary of the key points, saving you from reading every paragraph in detail. No more signing on hunches or bets!…

Recently, I was exploring the idea of using AI agents for real-time research and content generation. To put that into practice, I thought why not try solving a problem I run into often? Creating high-quality, up-to-date newsletters without spending hours manually researching. So I built a simple AI-powered Newsletter Agent that automatically researches a topic and generates a well-structured newsletter using the latest info from the web. Here's what I used: - Firecrawl Search API for real-time web scraping and content discovery - Nebius AI models for fast + cheap inference - Agno as the…

Hey HN, I wanted to see what happens if you put a large group in control of a site that’s completely built and updated by an AI agent. See the site here: https://youarethepm.com. I first tried this with a small group of co-workers and it worked surprisingly well, so the obvious next step was: give it to a bigger group of strangers and see what we learn. This site is fully autonomous. An AI agent reads this thread, decides what to do, writes code, and ships updates on a virtual computer. I might step in if it gets totally stuck, but the goal is for the site to evolve primarily based…

I'm Tom, the cofounder of Canonical AI. I build a Voice AI agent that interviews you, then writes LinkedIn and X posts based on the interview. ### Why did I build this? 1. LinkedIn and X are b2b lead goldmines. But generating content is hard. You have to figure out what to say. If you're like me, you have trouble coming up with social post ideas when staring at a blank screen. But interesting ideas arrive when I step away from my laptop and talk to people. Also, it's hard to compose the content in a way that appeases the platform algorithms. 2. I want to dogfood my product. We’re building…

Hi HN, I’m Harrison, co-founder of Listed. Today we're launching our agentic platform to help your business win in the new age of AI. You can try the platform here: https://getlisted.ai And watch the launch video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJUPo6H78z8 The idea for this came from pure frustration. I asked ChatGPT about my own company and it hallucinated, inventing features and getting basic facts wrong. I realized there was no mechanism for a business to provide a verified source of truth to these models. This problem is now existential. With Google's AI…

Hey Hackers, My co-founder and I built an AI bot that reads the natural-language context from email or Slack chat and traces availability links (Calendly, cal.com, etc), then compares the other person availability with yours to find the optimal time. It also drafts email responses and re-schedules meetings. Demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YAJBARVWf1w Thanks very much in advance for your feedback!

Hey HN! I'm an indie hacker who builds SAAS products in my free time. I've got a friend who runs a small consulting firm and said this would be a useful tool for them so i thought why not release it as a standalone online tool for everyone. Basically the premise is, you enter some information about your services (or we just scrape your website and figure it out). Then you enter a description of the client brief, tweak the outline, and out comes a unique tailored proposal that you can tweak with AI. That's pretty much it! Would love to hear your thoughts. Thank you.
