Since Intuit announced that Mint.com is going away (users are being "migrated" to Credit Karma, which will only retain 3 years of history), we've found that many many users are trying to get their data out of Mint.com. Mint actually has a bunch of functionality to let you export your transactions and balances inCSV, but it's pretty tedious (you have to go account by account, and if you want daily balances, you also have to go month-by-month). Hey HN, It will be more of a "How I released my API without managing a website, servers, users, and payments. With 0$ up-front cost" Over the past year, I have come up with a plan of how I could release my own product without having to deal with managing users and/or dealing with payment processing. Our initial release is a Chrome extension that builds on top of Gmail and Google Calendar. We keep limited trace activity of coding sessions for 30 days to troubleshoot and improve our offering. Recently I'm working on CopyUI which is an extension to copy UI element from websites and export html(or jsx) and css(or tailwind). I'm building this tool in order to create better landing pages because I'm really not good at layout and colors. So I hope to learn from others' design and innovate later, not to simply replicate.
