I’ve been running Clawdbot for the last couple weeks and have genuinely found it useful but running it scares the crap out of me. OpenClaw has 52+ modules and runs agents with near-unlimited permissions in a single Node process. NanoClaw is ~500 lines of core code, agents run in actual Apple containers with filesystem isolation. Each chat gets its own sandboxed context. This is not a swiss army knife. It’s built to match my exact needs. Fork it and make it yours.

Clawcard▲125While building Latch, our governance and observability platform for agents handling sensitive operations, I needed a way to test it end‑to‑end. That meant giving agents real, governed identities: email, phone, payments, and secrets - all tied to a single auditable entity. That testing surface turned into Clawcard. With a single API key, your agent gets: - A real email inbox (send + receive) - An SMS phone number - Virtual Mastercards with spend limits - An encrypted credential vault - A full audit trail for every action All of it is built for agent-native governance and wired to work out of…

keychains.dev▲177Hi HN — I’m a heavy OpenClaw user and, like many others, I’ve been thinking about how to give these new “unleashed” agents secure access to my accounts. Agents need API access to be useful. But API keys are long-lived secrets. And agents are not secure environments. So I built something for myself that quickly turned into a product: keychains.dev. The idea is simple: agents never see raw credentials. With Keychains.dev: • Agents make API calls via a drop-in replacement for curl or JavaScript’s fetch() • They use template variable names instead of embedding credentials • The request is…

We recently started to use agents to update some documentation across our codebase on a weekly basis, and everything quickly turned into cron jobs, logs, and terminal output. it worked, but was hard to tell what agents were doing, why something failed, or whether a workflow was actually progressing. We thought it would be more interesting to treat agents as long-lived workers with state and responsibilities and explicit handoffs. Something you can actually see and reason about, instead of just tailing logs. So we built Clawe, a small coordination layer on top of OpenClaw that lets agent…

Hey everyone, Nathan here: I'm an MLE at Mozilla.ai. I can't tell you how many things around my house I've been saying "I would really like to have somebody take a look at that". But here's the problem: all the people in the trades are extremely overwhelmed with work. There is a lot to be done and not enough people to do it. One of my best friends runs his own general contracting business. He's extremely talented and wants to spend his time working on drywall, building staircases, and listening to Mumford and Sons while throwing paint onto a ceiling. But you know what gets in the way of that…

Clawsify▲16Hi HN, I’ve been experimenting with OpenClaw recently and started building a small project called Clawsify. The idea is simple: instead of one generic AI agent, create different agents and personas tailored for specific niches. For example: marketing agents research agents automation/task agents niche-specific personas depending on the workflow I’m also experimenting with different OpenClaw tools and boilerplates so builders can spin up agents faster without setting everything up from scratch. Still early and mostly experimental, but I’m curious: What kind of niche AI agents or personas…
