Hi HN, we’re open-sourcing ktx. It’s an executable context layer that makes agents reliable on your data stack. We built it after going through the experience of building production-grade data agents for dozens of companies. If you’ve also tried building them, or simply tried using Claude Code or Codex on your data warehouse, you’ll know that accuracy is the #1 issue. Agents are great at generating valid SQL, but it’s not always correct SQL. To cite a few examples of “agents gone wrong”: - Stale column + hidden business rule: when preparing a board report, a finance analyst asks Claude Code…

I've been presenting at local meetups about Context Engineering, RAG, Skills, etc.. I even have a vbrownbag coming up on LinkedIn about this topic so I figured I would make a basic example that uses bedrock so I can use it in my talks or vbrownbags. Hopefully it's useful.

Hey HN! I'm Fabio and I built UltraContext, a simple context API for AI agents with automatic versioning. After two years building AI agents in production, I experienced firsthand how frustrating it is to manage context at scale. Storing messages, iterating system prompts, debugging behavior and multi-agent patterns—all while keeping track of everything without breaking anything. It was driving me insane. So I built UltraContext. The mental model is git for context: - Updates and deletes automatically create versions (history is never lost) - Replay state at any point The API is 5 methods:…

We built HALO (Hierarchal Agent Loop Optimizer), an open-source tool for debugging and optimizing AI agents using their execution traces. It’s a loop. Run your agent, feed the traces to HALO, get the report, apply the fixes, then re-run your agent. HALO takes in OTEL compliant traces from AI agents using tracing frameworks such as Langfuse, Arize/OpenInference, or even just plain JSONL. It uses an RLM (Recursive Language Model) to more efficiently break trace analysis into smaller subproblems in order to find recurring patterns across large amounts of data and fix systemic issues that…

Show HN: Context42 - AI-powered style guide generator for your codebase Hey HN, I've been building Context42 to solve a problem that's been bugging me: getting AI to write code like me, and helping disseminate coding best practices. The core insight is simple - your existing code is already your best style guide. Instead of debating tabs vs spaces or where to put your curly braces, Context42 analyzes your actual codebase and generates comprehensive style documentation using Google's Gemini AI. Here's what makes it special: 1. *Language-aware analysis* - It groups files by language and…
