Sharing an internal tool that accelerated my development work 10-fold, especially with API debugging. Thought fellow developers here might find it useful. As a developer, I often have trouble reproducing errors at the client end. https://intercept.rest lets me debug and monitor API requests and responses. It is similar to the Network tab in Chrome Developer Tools but works for any API: mobile apps, webhooks, frontend etc. After I shared it with a close circle of friends, they found it incredibly useful and even found new use cases, I never imagined. Been a long time lurker here and…

I built a GitHub app that checks for uncompleted checkboxes within pull request comments and blocks the merge if found. This allows you to treat checkboxes as to-do’s and: * Open pull requests with a to-do list template -> make sure all steps are completed before merging * Leave to-do reminders for yourself as you work on a pull request * Leave to-do reminders for someone else as part of your code review Especially useful for large PRs with collapsed comments.

I always strive to write better, clean and readable code. But I often find unit tests are hard to read, and especially harder to quickly identify what are the important pieces, or even what the test is testing about. So I came up with this lightweight library to help enforce unit tests with a Given-When-Then structure. I hope you find this useful. Any feedback are welcome. https://github.com/cobrakai-lab/Cobrakai.GWTUnit

Headlamp is a Chrome extension that shows where you're missing tests. It reveals gaps in testing for solo testers, test teams (collaborative bug-bash, anyone?), and test automation (Selenium, Puppeteer, Playwright). Using it is easy as 1-2-3! 1) When you start testing, Headlamp puts a dot on each link and input element. 2) The dots are cleared when you click a link, type some text, or change a selection. 3) The remaining dots show you which things you missed. It also provides insightful test activity reports. It's free to use as a solo tester. Give it a try today!

I built this tool a couple days ago to temporarily hide your prints & comments. I wanted to focus on the core logic without having to constantly delete/add prints and comments. Lmk if you like it ;)
