What it does
We give you a 360-degree profile based on the public and private data you hold on various coding sites like GitHub, StackOverflow or GitLab. We support you to show off your experience, improve your skills, and get job recommendations
The Best Way To Tell Your Developer Journey. Code-Based | Always Up-To-Date | Free | Detailed Developer Profile
Telling your developer story is not easy. It is not just a list of work experience or a bunch of code. We aggregate your developer activity from different platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, StackOverflow, LinkedIn and provide the tools (API, Widgets, Community) to create a profile you want. We create different charts to represent your work experience over time. These are great tools to track your progress and see how fast you are learning! Skill boxes help illustrate how experienced you are, which programming languages you prefer, and they say more about your habits and preferences overall. The programming language is just one side of the story. We also check and display your favorite…from codersrank.io

GitHiredDec 2025 · githired.tech · ▲360Hey HN - today I’m launching GitHired. A hiring platform that ranks developers based on what they actually build — not what they claim on a PDF. It’s called GitHired, and here’s the core idea: GitHub > Resumes Instead of trusting “proficient in React” bullet points, we analyze a candidate’s actual GitHub: their real tech stack their most complex projects how active they are what kinds of contributions they make which skills match your job description and yes, we detect fake “green square farming.” Why we built this Because engineering hiring is broken. Resumes are inflated. Activity charts…

Since everyone seems to be making a github application, I thought I'd share mine. It's an aggregated view of all of a given person's github projects, as well as easyish lookups for linkedin/stackoverflow/hackernews. It attempts to determine both productivity (how much code did this person write?) as well as impact (did anyone care?) I'd love any feedback, but go easy on the number of simultaneous searches as I'm trying to play nice by github's api limits. check it -- http://www.gitalytics.com

Talanoa▲340Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

After years of solo development I'm presenting: Angeldust, an omni-compatible action RPG and building game! Website: http://angeldu.st My single server hosts 250+K active players in one giant, dynamic fantasy world. Angeldust's game server is pervasively multithreaded, implementing John Carmack's dream of processing an immutable world state each tick. Both world handling and network traffic routing uses any number of threads. For networking, a typical game session only uses ~3Kbps of bandwidth, enabling decent play even over 2G/EDGE networks. The client is programmed in C++…
