It's quite limited but does the job, I invite anybody not aware of what cram tests are to give them a try, being on Unix with the original cram or Windows with this one ;)

DeltaGlider is a CLI/SDK similar to `aws s3` or `boto3`. UPLOAD: It stores the first file in a S3 path as a full-size (reference), but saves next uploaded archives as deltas (tiny binary diffs) with respect to the reference. DOWNLOAD: it reconstructs the original file on the fly, bit-perfect and verified with SHA256. Why Xdelta3? It's a compression-aware and block-level binary diff algorithm. Perfect for representing differences between archives, where small changes shift bytes but most content stays the same. It can efficiently delta compress ZIP/JAR/TAR archives up to 99.9%…

I've been exploring uses of file metadata. Here's an interesting one with a legitimate (and potentially unreliable) use case. Focuses on ease of use. Would love to hear feedback.

Heap is a macOS app for creating full-page local offline archives of webpages in various formats with a single click. It's a menubar only app and a single right-click creates full-sized image screenshot, PDF, Markdown, HTML, and WebArchive. It can also be configured to archive videos, zip files etc using AppleScript. You can archive multiple links too by dragging and dropping a text string or text file containing the links. It can do things like run JavaScript on the website before archiving, signing in with user accounts before archiving, and running an Apple Shortcut post archiving. You…

I used to use https://doc.new when I needed to write quick scratchpad notes, but it takes like two seconds for Google Docs to be interactable, and ends up polluting my Drive with a bunch of "Untitled Docs". Lately I've used a bookmarklet that opens a fullpage contenteditable div which is instantaneous and worked for my needs. But I wanted persistence when I accidentally close the tab, and data-urls can't use localstorage, so I spun up quicknote.zip. It loads in the blink of an eye, works offline, and stores each day to localstorage. That's all it does, take it or leave it.

This is an ncdu clone written in Rust that I figured others might find useful! The main things that differentiate it from ncdu are: - It's very fast. In my benchmarks it's often twice as fast. - It allows you to send files to trash rather than permanently delete. Please try it out and lmk if I can improve on anything!
