I've been working on CloudRouter, a skill + CLI that gives coding agents like Claude Code and Codex the ability to start cloud VMs and GPUs. When an agent writes code, it usually needs to start a dev server, run tests, open a browser to verify its work. Today that all happens on your local machine. This works fine for a single task, but the agent is sharing your computer: your ports, RAM, screen. If you run multiple agents in parallel, it gets a bit chaotic. Docker helps with isolation, but it still uses your machine's resources, and doesn't give the agent a browser, a desktop, or a GPU to…

Hi HN, we’re Nick and Drew, and we’re building boxes.dev – the first cloud-only agentic dev environment (ADE) that gives every Codex and Claude Code agent its own cloud computer. We’re two engineers who previously built Gem (co-founder/CTO and first hire), and we spent the last year coding almost exclusively using Codex and Claude Code. It’s been a huge change to how we code, and it’s been exhilarating seeing the models keep getting better – but we eventually realized that developing on localhost was holding us back: - Git worktrees are clunky to set up and use for parallelizing work -…

Hi, we're Sergey and Serafim. We've been building dev tools at 21st.dev and recently open-sourced 1Code (https://1code.dev), a local UI for Claude Code. Here's a video of the product: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sgk9Z-nAjC0 Claude Code has been our go-to for 4 months. When Opus 4.5 dropped, parallel agents stopped needing so much babysitting. We started trusting it with more: building features end to end, adding tests, refactors. Stuff you'd normally hand off to a developer. We started running 3-4 at once. Then the CLI became annoying: too many terminals, hard to…

Hi All, Recently I've been using Claude Code a lot for debugging cluster issues and I realized I was performing similar tasks repeatedly so I decided to package them up into skills so I could call them up more easily (e.g. `/investigate`, `/audit-security`, `/audit-outdated`). I'm calling the skill pack "kstack" and the goal is to be able to monitor and troubleshoot K8s from within Claude Code. If you have time, I'd love to get some feedback on the project! VS Code and JetBrains have official Claude Code IDE integration, but Visual Studio doesn't. There's an open GitHub issue with a lot of +1s so I built it myself (check out the gif in the GitHub repo for a visual example). It implements the same protocol the official plugins use, so the Claude CLI connects to it automatically. You don't configure anything, just install the extension and click Launch. The main thing it adds over running Claude in a terminal is that edits open in Visual Studio's native diff viewer instead of auto-applying or prompting you in the terminal. You click Accept or…

At my work they provided a single Claude subscription for everyone on the team. To be honest I like kiro better as it provides a way better SDD management. But the company can't provide it and I can't afford it yet. Turns out I had the skill creator skill in my claude instance so I made use of it to create this Skill. I made it fully by using Claude but I wanted to make it open source, so I asked it to help me make tests and preparations for it, even a CI to run python tests. Well, we got this results with it: - Phase 2A: 67 static assertions (Python script, runs in CI) - Phase 2B: 15…
