1Code – Open-source Cursor-like UI for Claude Code
Hi, we're Sergey and Serafim. We've been building dev tools at 21st.dev and recently open-sourced 1Code (https://1code.dev), a local UI for Claude Code. Here's a video of the product: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sgk9Z-nAjC0 Claude Code has been our go-to for 4 months. When Opus 4.5 dropped, parallel agents stopped needing so much babysitting. What it does
In the maker’s words, at launch
Hi, we're Sergey and Serafim. We've been building dev tools at 21st.dev and recently open-sourced 1Code (https://1code.dev), a local UI for Claude Code. Here's a video of the product: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sgk9Z-nAjC0 Claude Code has been our go-to for 4 months. When Opus 4.5 dropped, parallel agents stopped needing so much babysitting. We started trusting it with more: building features end to end, adding tests, refactors. Stuff you'd normally hand off to a developer. We started running 3-4 at once. Then the CLI became annoying: too many terminals, hard to track what's where, diffs scattered everywhere. So we built 1Code.dev, an app to run your Claude Code agents in parallel that works on Mac and Web. On Mac: run locally, with or without worktrees. On Web: run in remote sandboxes with live previews of your app, mobile included, so you can check on agents from anywhere. Running multiple Claude Codes in parallel dramatically sped up how we build features. What’s next: Bug bot for identifying issues based on your changes; QA Agent, that checks that new features don't break anything; Adding OpenCode, Codex, other models and coding agents. API for starting Claude Codes in remote sandboxes. Try it out! We're open-source, so you can just bun build it. If you want something hosted, Pro ($20/mo) gives you web with live browser previews hosted on remote sandboxes. We’re also working on API access for running Claude Code sessions programmatically. We'd love to hear your feedback!

In the nature of Open Source, I am releasing something I'm actively working on but is insanely simple and will likely be made anyways. It is an SDK for scripting Claude Code. It's a lightweight (155 lines) and free wrapper around claude code This is a big deal because it seems that using claude code and cursor has become largly repitive. My workflow typically goes like this: Plan out my task into a file, then have claude code implement the plan into my code. I'm actively building a product with this, but still wanted to make it OSS! Use it now with `pip install codesys`

- GUGigacode – Use OpenCode's UI with Claude Code/Codex/AmpFeb 2026 · github.com · ▲27
Gigacode is an experimental, just-for-fun project that makes OpenCode's TUI + web + SDK work with Claude Code, Codex, and Amp. It's not a fork of OpenCode. Instead, it implements the OpenCode protocol and just runs `opencode attach` to the server that converts API calls to the underlying agents. We build this to scratch our itch of being able to rapidly switch between coding agents based on the task at hand. For example, we find that: - Claude Code is the best executor & fast iterator - Codex (high) is the best for complex or long-running tasks - OpenCode for fine-tuned, do-exactly-as-I-say…

Hey HN! I built Retain as the evolution of claude-reflect (github.com/BayramAnnakov/claude-reflect). The original problem: I use Claude Code/Codex daily for coding, plus claude.ai and ChatGPT occasionally. Every conversation contains decisions, corrections, and patterns I forget existed weeks later. I kept re-explaining the same preferences. claude-reflect was a CLI tool that extracted learnings from Claude Code sessions. Retain takes this further with a native macOS app that: - Aggregates conversations from Claude Code, claude.ai, ChatGPT, and Codex CLI - Instant full-text…
- CFCursor for UserscriptsJan 2026 · github.com · ▲56
I’ve been experimenting with embedding an Claude Code/Cursor-style coding agent directly into the browser. At a high level, the agent generates and maintains userscripts and CSS that are re-applied on page load. Rather than just editing DOM via JS in console the agent is treating the page, and the DOM as a file. The models are often trained in RL sandboxes with full access to the filesystem and bash, so they are really good at using it. So to make the agent behave well, I've simulated this environment. The whole state of a page and scripts is implemented as a virtual filesystem hacked…
- GCGamekit-CLI – Use Claude Code to quickly create games in UnityJan 2026 · github.com · ▲13
Hey HN! We’re the team from Normal / Normcore.io. We built gamekit-cli, an open-source command-line tool for developing Unity games with Claude Code. We love working with Claude Code. It's great for creating quick prototypes, writing complex systems code, and test suites. However, we work a lot with Unity and found we couldn’t move anywhere near as fast with Unity projects as we could when working on backend code. Claude Code works best when it has the ability to compile the code it writes and test its own work. There wasn’t an easy way to do that with Unity, so we made gamekit-cli!…

Hey HN! I wanted to share something I built over the last few weeks: isometric.nyc is a massive isometric pixel art map of NYC, built with nano banana and coding agents. I didn't write a single line of code. Of course no-code doesn't mean no-engineering. This project took a lot more manual labor than I'd hoped! I wrote a deep dive on the workflow and some thoughts about the future of AI coding and creativity: http://cannoneyed.com/projects/isometric-nyc
