Render▲318Hey HN, I'm Anurag, founder and CEO of Render, a cloud for application developers. We've just launched Render Workflows, a way to define durable tasks by decorating plain TypeScript or Python functions and running them on Render without operating queues, worker pools, retry logic, and state management. Code example below [1]. The use cases we have in mind include agent loops, ETL/data pipelines, billing flows, and other long-running jobs. The model is simple: mark an existing function as a Task, deploy the repo as a Workflow, then trigger runs from your application code or via our API.…

Hey all, Just reposting after about a year since the last time I shared. Micro is a platform for API development. It combines a lot of the core primitives you'd expect from a cloud platform as a single logical server. The closest equivalent is Dapr.io. It bakes in the concept of environments, source to running builds and a framework for Go development. It's useful where you want to write backend services in Go and expose them through a single API (also included in Micro). We once wrote about "Netlify for the frontend, Micro for the backend"…

I can't tell if HN is the right kind of place for this stuff anymore since people are so advanced in their use but I thought it was interesting to leverage my existing Go microservices framework and turn it into the core of what would provide tools for an agent cli or whatever beyond that. Extensibility is key. Thought I'd share and get a conversation going.

Hi HN folks, I'm a co-creator of the Dapr CNCF project and co-founder of Diagrid. Today we announced a free-to-use web app that takes any form of workflow diagram (UML, BPMN, scribble in your favorite drawing tool or even on paper) and generates code that runs in any IDE and that can be deployed to Kubernetes and other container based systems, based on Dapr's durable execution workflow engine. This essentially allows you to run durable workflows in minutes and leaves out the guesswork for how to structure, code and optimize a code-first workflow app. I'm happy for you to give this a try and…

Sokosumi▲90I'm part of the team that build Sokosumi, a marketplace where you can hire and deploy AI agents for specific tasks (research, design, sentiment analysis, etc.). Instead of one big chatbot, they’re positioning it as a directory of specialized “freelancer” agents, with a blockchain-based backend for payments and identity. Developers can also list their own agents and monetize them. Curious what people here think about this model: Will specialization make agent marketplaces more useful than general-purpose LLM tools? How viable is blockchain as the backbone for an agent economy? What pitfalls…
