ohai! I've released Lightwhale 3, which is possibly the easiest way to self-host Docker containers. It's a free, immutable Linux system purpose-built to live-boot straight into a working Docker Engine, thereby shortcutting the need for installation, configuration, and maintenance. Its simple design makes it easy to learn, and its low memory footprint should make it especially attractive during these times of RAMageddon. If this has piqued your interest, do check it out, along with its easy-to-follow Getting Started guide. In any event, have a nice day! =)

Hello HN, We’d like to show you our project — Nohooks[0]. The aim is to add webhooks to platforms that do not natively support webhooks. We really believe many APIs can provide a better developer experience by providing webhook notifications to enable us to automate more things. Nohooks works by intelligently polling the integrated platform's APIs, determining if a change has occurred, and generating webhook events. Nohooks currently supports webhooks from Notion’s Databases, Render’s Services & Deployments, and DigitalOcean’s Droplets. We will add more in the coming days and improve the…

Hey Friends, Convoy is an open-source webhooks gateway. Webhooks continue to be hard at scale, and large teams require consistent tooling for inbound & outbound webhooks. Convoy enables developers to securely send, receive and manage millions of webhooks reliably with features like retries, rate limiting, circuit breaking, customer-facing webhook logs, zero downtime secrets rotation and more. Since our initial launch [0], we've learned a lot about our users and made several important improvements we are excited to share: - We are now a webhooks gateway! Akin to API Gateways that sit at the…

We are super excited to be open sourcing the Svix webhooks dispatcher! Svix makes it easy to send webhooks. You send your payload to Svix, and Svix takes care of deliverability, retries, security, and more. You can read more about why we built Svix in the original Show HN[0], though the gist is: our customers wanted webhooks to build integrations and workflows around our product, but we weren't willing to commit the engineering time, resources and ongoing maintenance required of a webhook delivery system. Why open source? On a personal level, I've been an open source maintainer and…
