Products that do what EchoPal – I dare you to find a faster way to manage tasks does
Hey HN! I built EchoPal out of sheer frustration with my ADHD-addled brain constantly forgetting tasks. After years of struggling with clunky todo apps, I created a voice-driven, AI-powered solution that actually understands how my scattered thoughts work. Here's my challenge to you: I dare you to find a faster way to jot down and manage your tasks. Seriously, try it. The magic of EchoPal is its ability to capture and organize tasks through natural speech. Just talk, and watch the AI handle the rest - creating tasks, setting reminders, and even prepping emails or Slack messages mentioned in…

I really struggle to keep my notes organised, and often can't make any sense of hand written notes after meetings. I did some experiments with Claude and ChatGPT where I blast random thoughts at them during a meeting or brainstorming session and then have them output a nice document that pulls it all together at the end. It worked incredibly well but it was a bit cumbersome to keep sending messages to the chat and telling the ai each time what to do. So I took the idea and built a tool, it makes it easy to throw random notes and voice recordings (images and document support on the way) and…

Hi HN! First time posting. I created a tool for my Autistic son who is in high school junior battling severe ADHD symptoms. His difficulties include; 1. Time blindness 2. Lack of executive functioning skills 3. Task initiation issues These three were severely affecting his grades. We had a consultation with a Developmental Psychologist who prescribed Concerta that improves his ability to focus in class. In addition he also has the boilerplate ADHD accommodations(2X time on tests and quiet place to take the test). These collectively improved his test taking abilities. But, when it came to his…

I have tried journaling many times but nothing stuck. So I decided to make my own app for myself with these features: * Voice first * Private first * AI chat * Automatic tagging, meaning extraction, and semantic retrieval using embeddings stored locally * Export to LLM the AI angle is especially interesting for me. It allows me to ask questions like: * "remind me highlights and crazy nights in the last 3 months" * "How was I feeling during my trip in Spain and how big of a problem was my breakup" * "How would you judge my overall interactions with Marc after I told him about my problems" the…

I made EchoStash. If you’ve ever written a great prompt, used it once, and then couldn’t find it again — I’ve been there too. I kept losing my best prompts in chats, notes, or random documents. Every time I started a new project, I ended up rewriting the same stuff or wasting time trying to remember where I saved things. So I built EchoStash — a simple tool for developers who use AI tools regularly. It helps you save, organize, and reuse your prompts. You can tag them by project or tool, and when you need something, just search. The cool part? EchoStash has AI-powered search. You don’t need…

This is the first version of an app idea I had last month as a way to dip my toes into some of the AI APIs. The idea is you can record yourself answering and rehearsing what you'll say to common interview questions, and receive AI feedback on how you did and how you can improve. In the future I may expand into other subject areas, but wanted to scope it to the behavioral interview format for the time being. Super open to feedback and suggestions!
