I wanted a very simple way to dump prompts, links, and todo lists into my claude code and codex agents. And to work outside of the context window. This works particularly well for sharing "Projects" between Claude/ChatGPT etc. It's open source here; https://github.com/Vochsel/dump.page Anything you dump on the board becomes an llms.txt - spatially sorted implicitly and explicity sorted via connection edges. Would love HN's thoughts!

Hi HN — I'm the creator of FastMCP and wanted to share a new project we've open-sourced called Colin. I obviously love MCP, but I also use skills extremely heavily in my day-to-day work. Being exposed to both has made me very aware of a tension: - Anything with dynamic information, I ship over MCP. This takes work to set up and requires conversational boilerplate to refresh in every conversation. - Anything behavioral, I put in skills. They're lightweight, used automatically, and feel great. But I would never put dynamic information in a skill because keeping it up to date is a pain. And yet…

CoreMem lets you build collections of context, called a mem, and share it with any AI agent via URL, a Chrome extension, MCP, Cursor/VS Code plugins, a skill, and more. Instead of re-explaining your project or goal when you switch agents or start new sessions, CoreMem keeps your context centrally organized so that any AI tool can read it. This originally started as a CLI I built that kept pieces of context (Project A/B/C details, my writing style, preferred tech stacks, coding style, etc) in a SQLite database. I could instruct various agents to “use my `coremem` CLI to…

Hey HN, I think session transcripts written by coding agents like Claude Code and Codex are very interesting because they offer a detailed window into how work gets shipped. You can see the sequence of decisions that resulted in the final PR, what the agent got wrong, tools used etc. So I built a cli that analyzes these sessions and provides a local dashboard that shows what each session shipped (PRs, features), how much each PR cost, and recommendations for more effective usage. Concretely, it enriches each session with: - Outcome links: merged PRs, features shipped, files changed -…

As a solo developer on a sizeable project, I found myself facing the challenge of creating documentation, a task I admittedly do not enjoy. Fortunately, ChatGPT arrived just in time. After experimenting with it, I discovered that it generates high-quality documentation for code files, even better than what I could produce manually. This realization led me to develop Code-Narrator, a client that simplifies the documentation process. Code-Narrator (https://github.com/ingig/code-narrator) utilizes GPT-4 to analyze your code files and automatically generate documentation. The…

A friend and I built a browser prototype that answers questions about whatever’s on your screen using getDisplayMedia, client-side wake-word detection, and server-side multimodal inference. Hard parts: – Getting the model to point to specific UI elements – Keeping it coherent across multi-step workflows (“Help me create a sword in Tinkercad”) – Preventing the infinite mirror effect and confusion between window vs full-screen sharing – Keeping voice → screenshot → inference → voice latency low enough to feel conversational We packaged it as “Clippy” for fun, but the real experiment is letting…

I'm building a workspace for doing focus work while also managing constant multi-tasking and context-switching that's required in a lot of roles. Currently this is done by using a notes system where we can split-screen AI chat, an object-based data table system for tracking entities, as well as viewing other documents. We can define agents directly from documents by giving instructions in plain language and then defining the trigger conditions. This helps automate workflows directly in the place where we're reading and writing content. I'm continuing to experiment with instructions and…

Hi HN, I'm Rob. Contextify indexes every Claude Code and Codex session on your machine into one local, searchable database. The current session, in either tool, can search all of it: /total-recall in Claude Code, $total-recall in Codex. Demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvrvRGp4C9M | Mac app: https://contextify.sh (App Store or DMG) | Linux: CLI with a one-line installer, same search. No signup. I split my work between Claude Code and Codex. When I burn through rate limits on one, I switch to the other, and new models keep leapfrogging each other, so the…

Hi HN. I heard you like dev tools and AI, so we wanted to share our project that we’ve been working on. We’re working on Horizon [1] - a higher level abstraction for LLMs so that developers can spend less time trying to grapple with LLMs to make them work and more time with users. This is the starting feature set which takes an auto-ML approach to identify the optimal LLM model, hyperparameters, and prompt - instead of just giving you the tooling to figure it out yourself. You can read more about it in our documentations. Our view is that as LLMs become increasingly commoditized and prompts…

Was getting annoyed copy-pasting stuff from websites into ChatGPT all the time, basically wished Cursor's CMD+K worked everywhere. So I built a little Chrome extension, InPageAI, that tries to do just that: https://inpageai.com Hit a shortcut on any page, it grabs the context automatically, and you can ask AI to summarize, explain, etc. You can also use it to write directly into input fields/text boxes. It's pretty early days, but give it a try? Would love to hear what you think, or if you find places it breaks!

hey HN, happy Monday! I got sick of receiving personal messages that were clearly written by AI, so I vibe-coded a pastebin-like service that allows authors to electively prove they wrote something themselves. how it works: - typing rhythm analysis: analyzing your keystroke patterns to measure how human-like they are, based on rhythm, speed, variance, etc. - audio verification: optionally, corroborating the audio from your microphone with your keystrokes as you type, to get an "audio verification" badge. in an increasingly AI-generated world, I think it's very important for us humans to be…

Hey HN! One of the biggest limitations of tools like Cursor is that they only have context over the project you have open. We built this MCP to allow you to fetch code context from all of your repos. It uses Sourcebot under the hood, an open source code search tool that supports indexing thousands of repos from multiple platforms. The MCP server leverages Sourcebot's index to rapidly fetch relevant code snippets and inject it into your agents context. Some use cases this unlocks include: - Finding all references of an API across your companies repos to allow the agent to provide accurate…

Hey folks. We built SAA (Selective Auditory Attention) after trying to find ways to make a good experience with multiple robots/multiple agents. What typically ended up happening is they'd never stop talking. This is an SDK you can put before your STT. It lets you know when your device is being spoken to or not without a wakeword. You can use it for: -Single AI, Multi human -Multi AI, Single human -Multi AI, Multi human (we recommend also adding a wakeword on top for a better system) There are two models. One that is video + audio and one that is just audio. The way it overall works is…

Here is a production-first Keras-inspired LM framework, built with the advice of François Chollet (ex-Google, creator of Keras and ARC-AGI), our technical advisor. This system have already been deployed in production with our clients (which is why we have already every LLMOps practice implemented). It is also compatible with Jupyter and Marimo to integrate seamlessly in you Data Scientists workflows. You can try the code examples online on HF space and you can find more information in the documentation and FAQ. If you have any feedback for us don't hesitate to join our discord! More releases…
