Hey! I wanted to share a tool I've been working on. It's still very early and a work in progress, but I've found it incredibly helpful when working with Claude and OpenAI's models. What it does: I created a Python script that dumps your entire Git repository into a single file. This makes it much easier to use with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems. Key Features: - Respects .gitignore patterns - Generates a tree-like directory structure - Includes file contents for all non-excluded files - Customizable file type filtering Why I find it useful for…

Bash4LLM is a single-file Bash wrapper for interacting with LLMs from the terminal. I created it because I wanted something simple that worked without installing Python, Node, or any other runtime. It uses only Bash, curl, and jq. You can send prompts, start a small chat, process files line by line, stream output, and save session metadata in JSON format. I tried to make it safe and predictable: no use of the system /tmp, no use of eval. Groq is supported by default, and other providers can be added with dedicated Bash scripts in the extras/providers/ folder. Example: echo…

My friends and I were complaining about having to decipher incomprehensible code one day and decided to pass the code through GPT to see if it could write easily understandable comments to help us out. It turns out that GPT can but it was still a hassle to generate comments for large files. So we decided to develop a basic web application that automatically integrates with your Github repository, generate comments, create a pull request and send you an email when it is all done. There is definitely a lot more that can be done but we wanted to gain feedback on whether this is a problem that…

When working on data science projects I often want to just save my work, without having to think deeply about what’s changed. I found the intentionality of Git to feel like friction in these times, and I built GitEase to simplify my workflow. Instead of having to think about add/commit/push/pull with GitEase I just think about `ge load, ge save, ge share, ge undo`. And for even less thinking, I use an LLM (text-da-vinci-003) to generate commit messages by summarizing the diff. Take a look, try it out, and I’d welcome any contributions & feedback. pip install gitease $ ge —help…

Hello everyone, This past Saturday, I decided to make purchase on Cursor after hearing how good it is with Composer function that allow to generate code on fly, especially on Claude Sonnet (not an affiliate of the products, just curious!). To make the purchase worthwhile, I challenged myself to build a Google Sheets extension in just 24 hours that allows users to connect with any Language Model (LLM)—whether it’s ChatGPT, Claude, Groq, or Gemini. The Idea The idea was simple: a formula like =Claude(prompt, model) that lets users integrate AI anywhere in their sheets. The most impressive…

I wanted a file management tool that actually understands what my files are about. Previous projects like LlamaFS (https://github.com/iyaja/llama-fs) aren't 100% local and require an AI API. So, I created a Python script that leverages AI to organize local files, running entirely on your device for complete privacy. It uses Google Gemma2 2B and llava-v1.6-vicuna-7b models for processing. Note: You won't need any API key and internet connection to run this project, it runs models entirely on your device. What it does: - Scans a specified input directory for files -…
