Hello, HN. I created https://frankendash.com, which lets you arrange web page snippets in a dashboard. It then refreshes them at regular intervals. I built it for myself because I got tired having to cycle through my tabs to make sure I don't miss anything, and I'm sharing here in case it may be useful to someone else. No account required. I started writing this mostly for the Pi but ended up building it to support multiple Linux OSs. It's intended to be just that, a small dashboard providing real-time details on the usage. Wagtail is a new, open-source Django CMS focused on flexibility and user experience. It was originally built for the Royal College of Art, but now we're able to share it with everyone. I've always dreamed about a project like that when looking at status boards at other companies. We finally had the time to do our own. It's very early days for the project, but I wanted to share it to see if there is interest. It is the final piece of the FastAPI server-side rendering stack I started building with FastHX and htmy (the two dependencies of this project besides FastAPI). Think of it as a more powerful and convenient alternative to tools like FastHTML, powered by FastAPI (without any modifications). I hope you'll like it.
