As engineers building a BI tool, we thought, why not treat analytics like software development? We believe dashboards should be as-code because this allows you to: * Treat dashboards as programmable objects and build reusable components/functions. * Dynamically generate charts or dashboards. * Version control every dashboard in a Git repository. * Automate and integrate your dashboards with your workflow. So, we built one! It’s still a work in progress, but you can tinker with it here: https://playground.holistics.io/play Feedback is very welcome and appreciated.

DashGPT2024 · dashgpt.ai · ▲287I guys, I built this spreadsheet to dashboard tool. You can attach any csv and optionally a prompt for what insights you want it to include, and it reasons over the data and produces a dashboard of different charts. Let me know what y'all think! It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

Many years ago, I made VJ softwares (to mix live visuals in clubs) for unexpected platforms like the Game Boy Advance, the Playstation 2 and the Raspberry Pi. This year, I’m back with a new web-app: Pikimov. Inspired by Photopea (a free Photoshop clone), I created this web-based motion design & video editor as an alternative to After Effects, to fill empty void. It's free, without signup, without cloud uploads (your files stay on your machine), and your projects are not used for AI models training.
