24 alternatives to Frigade
Hey HN! Christian here, cofounder and CTO of Frigade (https://www.frigade.com). Our tool helps product and engineering teams quickly build in-app experiences like getting started checklists, product tours, account upsells, and nps surveys. Basically all the little things that can help boost your product's activation and retention rates, but that you don't really want to spend the time building from scratch. We built React UI components such as , , and and combined them with a web app that you can use to control user targeting, content management, sequencing, and more. These…

21st.dev▲1,211I originally built this app to organize and reuse interesting React + Tailwind components I came across on Twitter, inspired by the shadcn/ui approach. Later, a friend started contributing their own components, and it got me thinking—this could grow into something bigger, like an NPM for design engineers to share and use components. Would love to hear your thoughts!

Locofy.ai▲720Hey there, I am Honey - Co-founder at Locofy. We, along with other makers, have been building Locofy.ai to help massively accelerate the builders - the designers, developers, product managers & founders, and we're excited to share it today with the HN Community. Locofy.ai simply converts designs into production-ready frontend code for web and mobile apps. Hey HN! My name is Christian, and I’m the co-founder of https://frigade.ai. We’ve built an AI agent that automatically learns how to use any web-based product, and in turn guides users directly in the UI, automatically generates documentation, and even takes actions on a user’s behalf. Think of it as Clippy from the old MS Office. But on steroids. And actually helpful. You can see the agent and tool-calling SDK in action here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPe0t3A1Vpg How is this different from other AI customer support products? Most AI "copilots" are really just…

I made this because building UIs in a lexical medium like code is super annoying. I have to pre-render what I’m making in my head, and then jump between the browser and IDE to test. I was inspired by the developer console in chrome and safari since I end up editing css there because it’s ironically more convenient. Hope it’s useful!

Hey HN! I've built a way to launch simple, stateful React components like promotions, banners, and announcements in your web app through reusable in-app UI channels. Here's a demo of how it works: https://youtu.be/qrPip41Ecyg. The docs are here: https://docs.frigade.com/v2/platform/collections. This enables non-technical teammates to launch native, prebuilt components directly in the product UI without involving engineering. We also provide the ability to update content (i.e. CMS), track user progress/state and target components to specific users…

Croct▲387We just launched Croct Templates, a way to drop CMS-powered components into your app with a single command. It's like Shadcn, but for CMS, AB testing and personalization: * Built-in support for A/B testing, content editing, and dynamic logic * Works with existing projects (Next.js, React, etc.) * Supports community libraries via `npm://`, `shadcn-ui://`, etc. Example: ```bash npx croct@latest use shadcn-ui://block/pricing-page ``` Happy to answer any questions!

Flows▲239If you’ve ever tried building onboarding or product adoption with Appcues, Chameleon, Userflow, WalkMe, or Usetiful, you’ve probably hit the same two problems: 1. Everything is rendered with JavaScript overlays 2. Customization is a nightmare A little backstory: When I was choosing an onboarding tool for my previous project, nothing matched what I needed. So I had to build my own. With help from IntroJS I built onboarding solution that I needed: Tooltips, Modals, custom CSS, waiting for interactions, and saving the state into the database. It worked… but it took way more time than it should…

Hey Hackers! My name is Alex and I’ve been working on this project for the past 8 months with the support of Figma Creator Fund. I’d love to hear your thoughts from your experience working with designers & component libraries. I started out in design and later got into coding, so I understand both sides really well. I did UX Design for 12 years at startups, at my own studio and at Wix, and then worked as a front-end dev at Wix for 2 more years. I've noticed a common problem: most component libraries work great for devs but not so well for designers. In my experience working with big teams,…

Hey HN. I'm a developer and solopreneur. Few months ago I realized I was doing the same thing over and over again: set up onboarding flow, user authentication, payments, connect a DB... So I built ExpoShip for 3 reasons: 1. Save Time and focus on what matters: building a business. 2. Avoid headaches like setting up authentication or handling in-app payments. 3. Get profitable fast. I hope this boilerplate will be as helpful to you as it is for me. Would love your feedback. Rudolfs

Everyone's shipping AI tools right now, and here I am with a visual editor. Still, I think many teams are very familiar with the problem of "marketing wants to change the landing page again." I've run into this for years. Campaign pages come in, engineers get pulled in, and tickets stack up. It's usually the same components, just rearranged. A few years ago, at a startup I worked at, we built an internal tool to deal with this. You register your existing React components, they show up as drag-and-drop blocks, and the result is a JSX string. No schema to learn, no changes to your component…

Hi HN! Solo developer here. 10 days ago, I started building this after spending countless hours copying/pasting marketing sections and fighting to keep them consistent with our design system. I wondered: "What if AI could understand our design system and generate React components that actually match it?" Current progress (10 days in): - Can generate hero sections that follow your design tokens - Uses your actual component variants and styles - Works with Next.js, Tailwind, shadcn/ui It's very early days, but I'm excited to share it with other devs who: - Are tired of rebuilding…
