There's been lots of discussion recently about finding other HNers to talk to / bounce ideas off / work with, some Google spreadsheets were set up to share details but they were soon vandalised. I had a spare afternoon yesterday (which turned into a long day) and here's the result: http://www.hackernewsers.com/ It's only open to people with HN accounts, it lets you post your biography, location, skills etc. Anyway, I hope you like it and find it useful.

I keep meeting so many hackers with great ideas, and they have either a hurdle, or a lack of a path to get to where they need to go. So I have created this form that anyone can fill in, and then share, with the hope that it will be seen by someone who can come along and help them. I want a tool that gives a voice, a loud-speaker, to hackers so that they're efforts get recognized, and get the support they need. Please feel free to fill in this form and then share it. I built HackerBuddy.com with the idea of helping the Hacker News community get one-on-one help with fellow hackers that know their stuff. It matches up people that are good at a particular skill (Ruby on Rails, Python, beta-testing, general startup advice etc) with people that need that specialist help. I've finally launched a site that helps me check out Hacker News, as an adaptation to changes in the way I use Hacker News. http://hackerbra.in This site helps me get a quick view of current and historic Home, Ask and Best pages. Its specialty lies in: 1) the ability to open up only top comments for any item, inline without page reload. 2) the ability to see a user profile without requiring page reload.

We wanted to create a way to browse Show HN articles, even those that might not quite make it to the front page.
