Hello HN! So early this year I decided to build an iOS browser offering a large range of customization options, to accommodate anyone’s usage and visual preferences. Been using it as my default browser for 6 months and not looking back. On first launch it looks and behaves a bit like Safari, but to give you an idea, here are the various ways I customized it on my phone. - More screen real estate for the webpage, less for the toolbar. - A compact toolbar containing only the buttons for actions I use the most: new tab, close tab, open tab list. Since I use them hundred times a day, I need them…

I wanted Apple Vision Pros, but I don’t have $3,500 in my back pocket. So I made Apple Vision Pros at home. This was just a fun little project I made. Currently, the website doesn't work on screens less than 1200x728 (Sorry mobile users!) It also might struggle on lower end devices. For best results, have a webcam pointing right at you. I tested my website with a MacBook camera. Any comments, questions, or suggestions are greatly appreciated! blog: https://blog.andykhau.com/blog/eyesite check it out: https://eyesite.andykhau.com/ github:…

LookAway 2▲281Hello, I'm Kushagra and I am the indie developer behind LookAway (I've posted about it earlier but it has received quite a lot of updates since the last time so I am posting it again). LookAway is a native break reminder for macOS that doesn't interrupt. I built it because I work from home and I spend a lot of time in front of my screens. It's very easy for me to get lost in the flow and I can end up sitting for hours. Due to this, I started facing issues like eye strain and back pain by the end of the day. The solution to this was simply taking enough breaks throughout the day. But…

EyesOff▲184I built EyesOff after getting fed up with people glancing at my screen in coffee shops. I trained a, custom and small, neural network to detect when people look at your screen. Whenever more faces than your allowed threshold are looking at your screen an alert will show. The model being ran locally ensures all data stays on your device - no cloud processing. I would love feedback on the application and any features you think I should implement!
