Hi HN! After several months of work, I'm excited to share ProKZee, a free and open-source network security tool built with Go and React using Wails framework. ProKZee allows developers, security researchers, and penetration testers to intercept, inspect, and modify HTTP/S traffic — similar to tools like Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, and Caido — but with a fast native UI, modern UX, and some unique features. https://github.com/al-sultani/prokzee

Hey HN, As an AppSec engineer, I’ve spent a lot of time running and tunning open-source security scanners like Trivy, Semgrep, Gitleaks and Dojo. What I have found is that running them is easy, reviewing the results, not so much. Each tool outputs different JSON, false positives pile up, and CI either becomes noisy or blocks everything. So I built Kekkai (formerly Hokage), a small open-source CLI that wraps these scanners and focuses specifically on human triage. Kekkai runs the scanners in isolated Docker containers, normalizes their outputs into a single format, and provides an interactive…

Here's Openclaw Carapace, a CLI security scanner for OpenClaw. It audits your configs, flags CVEs, and scans skill files for vulnerabilities. A few things it does: - Auto-fix common misconfigurations - Hardening profiles for typical deployment patterns - SARIF output so it drops right into GitHub Code Scanning or your CI/CD pipeline Would love feedback — especially on what checks or hardening rules you'd want to see next.

We believe the best software is built when devs seriously use the thing they're building. We're a mobile dev tools company (emergetools.com), but we don't actually build & ship "apps"... until now. Excited to share our first open-source app: Hacker News for Android Any feedback/PRs very welcome on the repo. We also wrote about why we built and open-sourced this HN app here: https://www.emergetools.com/blog/posts/open-sourcing-emerge-...

Show HN: SEKSBot – AI agents that can't see your secrets SEKSBot is a fork of OpenClaw where agents have zero access to API keys, tokens, or credentials — ever. The core insight is borrowed from SQL prepared statements: separate the instructions from the sensitive data. Agents write requests using named secret references. A broker intercepts and injects the real credentials at execution time. The agent never sees them. How it works: seksh (our nushell fork) has secure built-in commands (seksh-http, seksh-git) that route through the broker. Agents can make authenticated API calls and git…

Safe Scanner is a simple, slim (350kb) web app which shows URL redirects, checks https and validates against Google Safe Browsing for scanned links. It also keeps a history which you can share. There are other apps out there but they are bloated and slow. Hope this helps someone.
