Products that do what I built a tool that helps founders grow on Reddit, X, and LinkedIn does
Hey HN,I'm Arthur, solo founder here. After struggling to get consistent traffic for my own startup, I realized I was spending more time guessing how to market than actually building. So I made something small but useful. MediaFast is a simple tool that gives you daily marketing roadmaps for Reddit, X, and LinkedIn. No fluff, just concrete tasks that help you get seen. It covers: – Where and how to post on Reddit without getting banned – What to tweet to get engagement as a SaaS founder – How to grow LinkedIn with cold DMs and soft content Since launching, I’ve gotten 15k+ visitors and $5.7k…

LinkedIn feels more like Facebook every day — noisy feeds, fake engagement, and everyone shouting into the void. Thats why I used to built a personal microsite on Squarespace and uploaded a video resume to YouTube to stand out - it helped me land interviews and get into Big Tech. But I always wondered: why isn’t there a platform designed to help you stand out like that? So I built OpenSpot: a public, curated platform where you can showcase who you are — with video, audio, and proof of your work. No endless feeds. No humblebrags. Just real people open to new opportunities. We’ve already…

Hey everyone! I wanted to share a tool I built to help you quickly find potential customers across social media for your product. It's a really simple concept: you simply paste in your landing page URL, and it shows you highly relevant posts across Reddit (Working to integrate few more) from people who likely need your product or service. For example, if you have a minimal to-do list app, it will show you posts like "Anyone know of a minimal to-do list app?" or "Really starting to dislike how complex Notion is." These posts are from the last 48 hours, updated in real-time, and uniquely…

Hi HN, today I'm launching Momentum, a new service to help you find users and customers for your apps and services. Check it out - http://momentum.getgini.com I have seen many developers here on HN who build awesome stuff but then struggle with the marketing. Momentum is designed for solo developers who don't have the time or skills for promoting their apps and services. It helps you find the most relevant blogs, websites, forums, journalists, social influencers in your target market. It also makes a tailored content marketing plan and helps you optimise your marketing site. It's…

Hey HN, I’m Johann - founder of Jars Global, where we build and launch a lot of products. We've seen how valuable social content can be for early traction, but staying consistent and keeping good quality without wasting time or money has always been a challenge. So I built Outbrand. A tool that you can setup once by inputting your brand details and goals. Then you get a 30 day content schedule with graphics. You can integrate with social platforms so it runs on auto-pilot. Setup once, then get daily content easily. PS. Please roast it! Really want to improve it so it's extremely high quality…

Hey friends! I’d like to introduce my latest product, Flashpost, a post scheduling tool for Reddit. The free tier includes 5 free posts per month so you can give the product a try. It is my first paid product as I try to make it as a solo indie dev! The goal is to offer a simple tool for creators to promote their projects on Reddit without breaking the bank for a single distribution channel. Now for the behind the scenes details. ## The Backstory When I launched my first project TechStackLeads on Reddit, the response was remarkable. My post received 700k impressions, resulting in 20k…

One week ago, I launched a new directory, which is a curated list of useful and cool Mac apps and tools that are not available on the app store. Initially, I wasn't sure if it was a good idea, but I managed to create it in just one day. I started promoting it on Twitter and some communities, and although I got some views, I didn't make any sales. Then the next day, I wrote a post on a subreddit related to Mac apps about the directory I launched. People loved it so much, and I got 39k views on that post, leading to around 2.5k visitors on my site. Thanks to this exposure, I made my first 4…

Hey everyone, I’ve just rebuilt my SaaS, Replyhub[1], a tool to find high-potential leads from Reddit, X, and LinkedIn. The tool scans relevant posts related to your business, analyzes them, and identifies potential leads. It then alerts you so you can either reach out to them or engage with the posts directly. Here’s the backstory: When I first launched Replyhub three months ago, it was designed to monitor relevant discussions on Reddit and automatically reply to them. The goal was to streamline engagement and surface potential leads. However, several issues quickly arose. The AI-generated…

I wanted to find a product idea to build. "Build things people want," right? So I thought, why not literally find people saying what they want? I wrote a script to collect thousands of Reddit posts where people are looking for a solution or complaining about a problem. Then I used GPT to filter out the noise and score each one based on how viable the idea seemed. Threw together a simple search interface so anyone can explore them. I was planning to build a more advanced paid version of this, but figured I'd share the raw version first to see if it's actually useful to anyone.

Hey HN, I’m a solopreneur and have been in the SaaS space for the past 3 years. My last 3 startups failed, and a common challenge in all of them was figuring out how to reach my audience. Recently I started with cold outreach (its a struggle, since I dont have much experience with marketing). I am finding leads mainly using exa.ai websets (web vector search, extremelly good for multiple use cases, recommend checking them out) and then sending them through smartlead. I ran the campaign for the past 30 days and 12-15% emails always bounced. This wasted my email credits & chances of reaching…

Building integrations for TikTok, X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn got frustrating with how different every platform is with auth setup, rate limits, and media requirements. So we built Post for Me: one REST API that handles scheduling and publishing posts for TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Bluesky, and Threads. It's built for developers. You bring your own app credentials from the social platform, so you're in control of your data. There's no limitations on account connections, and pricing is based on usage (not some arbitrary limitations). We…

Do you want to monetize a private group/ channel/ community? Use Subjoin to create a personal membership page in minutes. It's easy to use and free to try out. No need to integrate Stripe if membership is free. - - - - I have never built something this fast, what a thrill! I saw there was no easy way to create a simple subscription page. Hey HN, I’m a solopreneur and have been in the SaaS space for the past 3 years. My last three startups failed, and a common challenge in all of them was figuring out how to reach my audience. SEO always seemed like the answer, but I didn’t know where to start. It felt overwhelming—so many technical terms like keyword research, clustering, SERP, semantics, topical authority… I could go on. That’s where my idea for my next startup came from: building an all-in-one SEO tool that’s easy to use and understand. The complexity of SEO is hidden behind a simple UI, and the only thing users need to do…

Hey HN, I'm Aydin, a 13-year-old developer and indie maker looking to improve the world with my small startups. Recently, I built 2 micro SaaS projects. I spent days & weeks coding features, always telling myself that after coding one more feature I was for sure to get traction. This never happened. The reason: I never launched. With IndieReq, you can launch your startup fast and get real user feedback so you know exactly what features to ship and improve. All you have to do is sign up for free, create a feedback board, and share the public link with your users. It's that easy! If you've…
