I built a tool that automates social content for busy startup founders
Hey HN, I’m Johann - founder of Jars Global, where we build and launch a lot of products. We've seen how valuable social content can be for early traction, but staying consistent and keeping good quality without wasting time or money has always been a challenge. So I built Outbrand. A tool that you can setup once by inputting your brand details and goals. Then you get a 30 day content schedule with graphics. You can integrate with social platforms so it runs on auto-pilot. Setup once, then get daily content easily. PS. Please roast it! Really want to improve it so it's extremely high quality…

Hey there HN! So for the last few weeks I decided I wanted to learn more about selling on Amazon and FBA - so I did what any normal hacker would do. I bought a website - https://www.chargeduck.com - Wrote some funny copy (Well I think its funny, but I suppose thats subjective) and then I went a step further. I called up suppliers, had samples made, designed packaging and even through some of that cheeky copy on the box. As I've been talking to people over the last week or two - especially other entrepreneurs its become apparent that this is a world a lot of people don't understand…
- IBI built a tool that helps founders grow on Reddit, X, and LinkedIn2025 · mediafa.st · ▲5
Hey HN,I'm Arthur, solo founder here. After struggling to get consistent traffic for my own startup, I realized I was spending more time guessing how to market than actually building. So I made something small but useful. MediaFast is a simple tool that gives you daily marketing roadmaps for Reddit, X, and LinkedIn. No fluff, just concrete tasks that help you get seen. It covers: – Where and how to post on Reddit without getting banned – What to tweet to get engagement as a SaaS founder – How to grow LinkedIn with cold DMs and soft content Since launching, I’ve gotten 15k+ visitors and $5.7k…
- SOStand out as a founder by sharing your story2024 · ▲7
Hey HN, I built a new platform called Indie Logs to help founders share their journey in a clear and organized way. Building in public is common now, but it's hard to stand out and share everything properly on places like Twitter. Your updates can get lost, and it's not easy to show the full picture of your good and tough days. There is no real way to present the full story. I built Indie Logs because I saw these problems. It gives you a personal page for all your projects, lets you put updates on your own site with embeddable timelines, and offers over 30 themes to personalize both your…
- IBI built a keyword research tool without a monthly subscription2024 · seo-stuff.com · ▲9
Hi HN! My name is Yossi, and I'm a solo indie maker. SEO tools are super pricey and free tools often fall short, leaving most users to costly subscription-based tools. So, I built SEO Stuff, a keyword tool that uses a credit-based system for builders like me who use SEO more sporadically. Have a great day!

Hey HN! Pilots everywhere are required to keep a logbook of all their flying hours, aircraft, airports, and so on. Since I track everything digitally (some people still just use paper logbooks!), I put together some data visualizations and a few 3D globes to show my flying history. This globe is probably my favourite so far: https://jameshard.ing/pilot/globes/all If you’ve got ideas for other graphs or ways to show this kind of data, I’d love to hear them!

I was the main contributor to workout.lol, an open-source fitness app to easily build a workout routine. The project had traction (1.4k GitHub stars, 95 forks, ~20K visits/month), but was eventually sold due to video licensing hurdles. The new owner stopped maintaining it, and the repo went abandoned. Over the next 9 months, I sent 15 emails to try to save it : no replies. Feature requests & issues were ignored. The community was left with a "broken" tool let's say. I couldn't just let it die So I built the new version from scratch with the same open-source spirit, but a better…
