Products that do what I built my own minimal PHP framework does
This is a simple PHP framework I built myself from scratch with minimal dependencies from composer. It has Autowiring DI and some simple routing provided by the Slim router. The code: https://github.com/cipher-code/phpframework

Hey HN, I built Onetone Framework as a full-stack PHP framework that pushes the boundaries of what PHP can do. It’s fast, modular, and surprisingly capable — combining backend routing, ORM, CLI tooling, and frontend build support into a single developer-friendly experience. Highlights: - PHP 8.2+ with autowired routing and ActiveRecord-style ORM - Built-in CLI, Docker setup, and .env support - Frontend build pipeline with Vite, esbuild - Growing test suite covering routing, query building, crypto, math, UUID, and more It’s still experimental, but I’m excited about how far it’s come. Would…

I needed to make a tiny webapp backend to upload to shared LAMP hosting (they still exist, and I think they're fun despite us being well beyond 2005), but I couldn't face waiting for FTP to sync down however thousands files Laravel or similar frameworks need. So I made a tiny PHP framework that gets packaged into a single file. I'm using it for my own shady purposes, but I decided to put it on GitHub in case anyone else finds the approach useful. It has typed request/response handling, filesystem-based routing, object serialization, database models/schema generation, and a little…

Sysadmin is my bread and butter, but I taught myself PHP and have been coding on and off for the past 6 years. I've worked on numerous freelance gigs, but mainly internal apps that I use for my real job. I worked on this project (on and off) for the past year and I'm happy to finally release it to the public. Even if it doesn't succeed, I'm happy that I was able to "scratch an itch" I've had for the past couple of years. I wanted to make something and prove to myself that I can program. I'm not the greatest, but I'm proud of what I've achieved. http://www.ikeepm.com

First, I'm by no mean a programmer. Second, I am reading HN for years, just registered to make this public and see if it can be useful for someone. I have nothing to gain monetary. A while ago, I decided that no blogging system was simple enough and I looked for a small wiki to use as a CMS/blog. Found WikWiki on C2.com and I mixed it with some basic Markdown syntax, a minimal template and added password protection. The result is a single php file, no database and no dependencies. Code is a mess, not modulable, probably wrong in so many ways, but it can probably used by some as personal…

This is a little project I've been working on for a while in order to better learn Python. Although IRC may not exactly be the most exciting medium, I still find it to be fun and useful, this interest lead me to writing a bot. In doing this I realized that what would actually be more interesting would be if I had a framework. There may already be such a thing, certainly there are IRC libraries, but I don't know if they're well-suited to deploying bots. At any rate if for no other reason than the fact that I am relatively new to programming and eager to learn I decided to build a framework.…

Hello HN community ! Finally I have a "Show HN" post. I'm bootstrapping my first Mac app, it's a standalone Xdebug PHP debugger. It aims to help any PHP developers out there who don't want to use IDE to debug code. My app it's slimmer, faster to load and easy to work and setup :) Hope you guys like it Site: http://codebugapp.com/

Hi all :) Saturday, I launched my first side project. It's basically a job board for PHP devs. https://php-at.work In the moment, everyone can post a job listing for free. I review it and activate it manually. I would love to hear any kind of feedback :) I posted it already on saturday, but probably it should be better in Show HN section.

Hi HN, I want to share with you phpconsole - my dev tool that I started developing quite a while ago, got to the point where it was usable and started testing and implementing it in my daily workflow. In the last 10 months me and some of my coworkers used it over 17k times in total, which gives me an indication that it may be useful for many more people. Phpconsole is aimed at PHP/JS devs, but I believe that porting the client code to other languages would be fairly easy. All feedback is welcome and if you're interested, leave your email on the page - you'll get an invitation to a beta…
