24 alternatives to I made an app full of bugs
Conventional logos are perfectly consistent everywhere: the same proportions, spacing, colors, every time. I wanted to try something that goes against this corporate uniformity and come up with a logo system that can be individualized but is still recognizable as the company’s logo. Once UI 1.5▲299When I started my career and built my first design system, I was beyond excited. It took a lot of iterations, learning and 6 months of work to launch it internally. In the next job, I did it again, then at the following job, again… And no matter which company I worked for, 80% of the design system was the same. I’ve decided to work full-time on the design system I’ve always wanted, and today I’m launching and open-sourcing it. You can use it to build Next.js apps faster, and I’ve designed it in a way that it’s hard to go wrong with it: you can choose any settings, and you’ll end up with a…

Hey there Some time ago I built a site that generates AI pictures in a style of GitHub logo (https://octoart.vercel.app/). It's build with Next.js, Replicate API and Supabase. It's a very early version, I built it in a weekend. It works like…

I recently quit my job at a decent TTS company I was working for as a software developer advocate to pursue what I have always enjoyed doing, which is creating software that is helpful. Before and after quitting my job, I have always found it expensive and time-consuming to hire a designer that can come up with a decent logo for my software, and as a software engineer, I really enjoy coding, not designing. One day, I made a pretty bold move to design a logo, and it took me a whole day to come up with a logo that looks nice. This is the reason I built Owl AI, a logo generator that generates…
