Products that do what I made the first web based Vine client does
I just created the very first fully functional web client for Vine. It features all of the functionalities that the mobile app does. It enables you to experience Vine seamlessly from your web browser. You can browse, upload, share, download, interact and more with it. http://www.vineclient.com

Hi guys, I've created an open source web builder framework (https://grapesjs.com) years ago, which I'm still maintaining, and now I'm excited to publish a side project based on it, Grapedrop (https://grapedrop.com). It's a simple web page builder which allows you to design and publish your web pages very quickly. The project is still in beta with a lot of stuff to improve but I'd really like to share it and hear what people think about it and maybe also get some constructive feedback.

For a while, I've struggled to really get into the Mobile ecosystem. With the duopology that Google (Android) and Apple (iOS) hold on the mobile ecosystem, it's very difficult for developers to build and maintain decent mobile apps, especially when you're a solo developer and UI/UX isn't exactly you're fore anyway. So I built (after some experiments with a friend @xuu) a little Go application framework that combines HTMX, DaisyUI/TailwindCSS and Service Workers with a little hack that works remarkably well that I've been able to build 3 quite nicely polished mobile apps (PWAs you…

Hey HN! We would love to hear your thoughts on our new client-side adaptation framework called Mobify.js. We've worked extremely hard on this product for a year and a half now, and we recently went open source with it. We use it internally to create mobile websites for our customers, and we would love for the rest of the world to use it too. Here is our first blog post on it: http://www.mobify.com/blog/introducing-mobify-js/. Once again, feedback would be awesome - go ahead and be brutally honest :)

Hi All ,I been working on my idea , A Voice CRM solution for 2 years. When I started brainstorming the idea the only option I have to receive phone calls thru browser was a flash widget or use 3rd party providers like Twilio or Phono . Thanks to WebRTC we now integrated our VoIP services to receive and make calls directly thru browser .Please have a look and give us your feedback .Thanks Voz.io Team .

Hey HN, I've been working on an email client and wanted to get some feedback! Minimail is built on Phonegap, so it uses HTML/CSS/JS for everything user-facing. The app also uses emailbox (a related project of mine) as the backend API for receiving/parsing/sending emails. I think email clients need a huge UX/UI overhaul, and so I'm trying to build a flexible/hackable email client that anyone can customize to fit their email workflow. Thanks for any feedback! Just something I put together quickly: https://webcast.browserprotect.me/ I made this in one day, now I'm wondering if It's interesting enough to make it a real product (Add new features like setting the size, zoom, annotations, fix bugs, export, voice-over, etc..) Here is an example screencast I just did: https://webcast.browserprotect.me/view/2764aa94dcd855959819fd91881f0882baa61a0e-44646 Do you consider this a viable product? I'm thinking about offering it for free and then add some premium features.

Hi guys, I've worked on several apps in the past couple of years, and found that it takes too much effort going from having an idea to building an app and having the world use it. I wanted a way to have an idea, turn it into a fully functional native app, and share it with the world, all in the next 5 minutes, as quick and as easy as writing a blog post. That's why I built Jason. Basically Jason lets you build a native interface to display and interact with any data format (csv, rss, html, json), any website, any API in any way you want, simply by writing a JSON markup and loading it.…

It's dead simple. There's no fancy interface. Basic features are gone. That's all on purpose. If you're like me, you're always writing down ideas on pieces of paper. My webapp is like that, but for the internet. Let me know if you find it useful.

Last week I decided to have a go at building a location based app, using native APIs for both android and iphone, but using a webview to display the content. It came together pretty well I think, still waiting for the ios app store to approve or reject the app. The app sends messages to anyone within 100 metres of you: http://herenow.nolanconsul.com/ I blogged a bit about it here: http://bennolan.com/2014/05/27/herenow-retrospective.html

I wrote a minimal iOS app called PocketServer (~1MB in download size) that creates persistent local HTTP/WebDAV servers which can actually run in the background. Functionalities: - Serve a folder via WebDAV — browse/add/delete files from others devices on the same network. - Host a static website or directory listing, accessible locally. - Share files cross-platform on the same network, no app needed on the receiving side. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/pocketserver-local-server/id67...
