GrapesJS
I’ve been working with @artf (creator of GrapesJS) on Grapes Studio, an HTML-first editor with an LLM assistant on top of GrapesJS. We’re approaching this differently than the new wave of AI app/site builders which are typically generating full React applications, which we think is overkill for simple websites. From talking to people using these tools, we’ve seen a lot of issues with build errors and overly complicated pages. With our approach you can: - Edit visually via the no-code editor (drag/drop) or ask the LLM to make scoped changes (like “add a section” or “add a new…

In plain words
GrapeJS is an open-source framework for embedding a visual editor into applications. It enables users to build emails, landing pages, websites, and documents using drag-and-drop editing, code editing, and reusable components. The editor supports responsive design with configurable CSS properties and exports clean HTML, JSON, and CSS. It can be used standalone or embedded via SDK, allowing developers to create custom components and white-label solutions for their users.

Hi guys, I've created an open source web builder framework (https://grapesjs.com) years ago, which I'm still maintaining, and now I'm excited to publish a side project based on it, Grapedrop (https://grapedrop.com). It's a simple web page builder which allows you to design and publish your web pages very quickly. The project is still in beta with a lot of stuff to improve but I'd really like to share it and hear what people think about it and maybe also get some constructive feedback.

An open-source, collaborative, WYSIWYG Markdown editor2023 · editor.vrite.io · ▲460Inspired by the design and UI/UX of apps like Notion, and utility of open-source apps like StackEdit, I decided to create a minimalistic, local-only WYSIWYG Markdown editor. Some features worth highlighting: - Monaco editor and Prettier integration for code snippets - Tables (apparently the holy grail of WYSIWYG editing) - Embeds (for CodePen, CodeSandbox and YouTube, most useful for HTML or JSON exports) - Accepts Markdown paste-in, and "exports"/generates HTML, Markdown and JSON outputs - Collaboration (with real-time awareness and initial commenting system, available only when…
RedwoodJS2022 · rwsdk.com · ▲203Hey everyone, I'm the original co-creator of RedwoodJS. (The framework that myself and Tom Preston-Werner, Rob Cameron and David Price built during Covid.) I had tried to build a developer tool startup (Snaplet), and failed. I rejoined the efforts to add RSC to Redwood, but I realized that we needed a much simpler framework that was closely tied to a platform (We chose Cloudflare). We started building RedwoodSDK a year ago and this is the result. An insanely simple stack. I am incredibly proud of this work, please star our repo and let me know if there's anything that doesn't resonate with…

Talanoa▲340Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…
