In plain words
Nue is a framework for building lightweight applications and user interfaces. It's designed for developers who want to create functional apps without the overhead of traditional frameworks like React. The framework emphasizes minimal file sizes and efficient performance, making it suitable for projects where speed and simplicity are priorities. Nue targets developers seeking an alternative to heavier JavaScript frameworks.

Going large-scale Here’s the same app, now with a Rust computation engine and Event Sourcing for instant search and other operations over 150,000 records — far past where JS-version of the engine crashed with a maximum call stack exception. This is a game-changer for Rust, Go, and JS engineers stuck wrestling with React idioms instead of leaning on timeless software patterns. Nue emphasizes a model-first approach, delivering modular design with simple, testable functions, true static typing, and minimal dependencies. Nue is a liberating experience for system devs whose skills can finally shine in a separated model layer. This is an important shift for design engineers bogged down by React…from nuejs.org

One – A new React framework unifying web, native and local-first2024 · onestack.dev · ▲506Hey HN, I'm Nate, the creator of Tamagui. One is a React framework that does two things differently in hopes of simplifying how we build websites and apps: 1. It unifies React Native and React web with typed file system routing by making Vite able to serve RN. This lets you share (or diverge) your code in a simpler way for cross-platform apps. 2. We've partnered with Zero (https://zerosync.dev) to make local-first work well. We've been building a solution in One that makes Zero supporting server rendering, without waterfalls, and with seamless server/client handoff. ---…

I made this because building UIs in a lexical medium like code is super annoying. I have to pre-render what I’m making in my head, and then jump between the browser and IDE to test. I was inspired by the developer console in chrome and safari since I end up editing css there because it’s ironically more convenient. Hope it’s useful!

Hyper – Standards-first React alternative2025 · nuejs.org · ▲70Author here. This is an attempt to simplify frontend development: 1. Standards first: User interfaces should be assembled with HTML, styled with CSS, and enhanced with JavaScript. 2. Less abstractions: UI composition should be easy and require as few idioms and abstractions as possible, both on client and server. 3. Design Systems: Design should be a separate subsystem, easily accessible for developers who care about and understand design. 4. Scalability: Complex UIs should retain simplicity as the application grows. Eager to hear your thoughts!

Hi everyone, I built PyXL — a hardware processor that executes a custom assembly generated from Python programs, without using a traditional interpreter or virtual machine. It compiles Python -> CPython Bytecode -> Instruction set designed for direct hardware execution. I’m sharing an early benchmark: a GPIO test where PyXL achieves a 480ns round-trip toggle — compared to 14-25 micro seconds on a MicroPython Pyboard - even though PyXL runs at a lower clock (100MHz vs. 168MHz). The design is stack-based, fully pipelined, and preserves Python's dynamic typing without static type restrictions.…
