Hi HN! I started working in Cancer Research at the University of Hawaii Cancer Center 4.5 years ago in March 2018. If you thought programming and computers were complex, WAIT until you start trying to wrap your head around cancer. We're talking Orders of Magnitude more complexity. After a weekend of coding, last night I launched a very early-version MVP of Coders Who Care. - The goal of the site is to connect nonprofits with developers willing to donate time to a good cause. Hi, I spent the last couple of months developing OurClubFundraiser(http://www.ourclubfundraiser.com) and launched it about two weeks ago.I would love to get some feedback from the HN community on how I could improve the site and tweak the concept. The idea of creating this site came to me when I was thinking of gifts to get family and friends for Christmas after a very exhausting work week. I've been frustrated by so many blogging platforms. Last I used Ghost. I thought it was expensive and I hated that www I had to prefix on custom domain. So, I built https://lykhari.com just for myself and then opened for public. If you want something simple do try. It became profitable and hence self sustaining!

I saw a tiktok the other day where it said there should be a website where wealthy individuals, unsure of how to spend their money, can fulfill the wishes of poor people.
