There are plenty of good tools for load testing such as JMeter, Minigun, and plenty more - but they all have their own set of options to learn. I built this one to support a simpler workflow where you just paste your curl request (or other cli command) after your `spam` config (literally just `spam -r 2 -- curl www.google.com). It's pretty barebones but I'm 100% going to use it in my day to day - figured I'd share it here if it helped anyone else!

The idea is simple: HTTP has curl, Docker has docker, Kubernetes has kubectl — MCP should have a shell-native client too. Why I made it: MCP is useful, but using it through agents has overhead: every session pays schema discovery cost every call carries JSON-RPC framing responses are often verbose JSON when the useful output is just a line or two cli-use converts that into a terse CLI so tools can be called like normal shell commands. I built a CLI tool that turns codebases and PRs into diagrams so you can quickly understand how things fit together. Originally made it because I couldn't follow my own AI-generated repos. I've been building a cli for my homelab/self-hosted setup. The original motivation was getting tired of stitching together deployments, monitoring, remote SSH access and random scripts. It’s a open source CLI, all-in-one tool for monitoring, secure remote accces (tunnel and terminal), log forwarding, automated deployments.
