Hey HN! I'm José, and I built Recall to solve a problem that was driving me crazy. The Problem: I use Claude for coding daily, but every conversation starts from scratch. I'd explain my architecture, coding standards, past decisions... then hit the context limit and lose everything. Next session? Start over. The Solution: Recall is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that gives Claude persistent memory using Redis + semantic search. Think of it as long-term memory that survives context limits and session restarts. How it works: - Claude stores important context as "memories" during…

I got tired of Claude Code forgetting all my context every time I open a new session: set-up decisions, how I like my margins, decision history. etc. We built a shared memory layer you can drop in as a Claude Code Skill. It’s basically a tiny memory DB with recall that remembers your sessions. Not magic. Not AGI. Just state. Install in Claude Code: /plugin marketplace add https://github.com/mutable-state-inc/ensue-skill /plugin install ensue-memory # restart Claude Code What it does: (1) persists context between sessions (2) semantic & temportal search (not just…

I've been working on CloudRouter, a skill + CLI that gives coding agents like Claude Code and Codex the ability to start cloud VMs and GPUs. When an agent writes code, it usually needs to start a dev server, run tests, open a browser to verify its work. Today that all happens on your local machine. This works fine for a single task, but the agent is sharing your computer: your ports, RAM, screen. If you run multiple agents in parallel, it gets a bit chaotic. Docker helps with isolation, but it still uses your machine's resources, and doesn't give the agent a browser, a desktop, or a GPU to…

Connect Claude Code to your internal systems w/o credentials

Claude Code deleted my research and plan markdown files and informed me: “I accidentally rm -rf'd real directories in my Obsidian vault through a symlink it didn't realize was there: I made a mistake. “ Unfortunately the backup of my documentation accidentally hadn’t run for a month. So I built claude-file-recovery, a CLI-tool and TUI that is able to extract your files from your ~/.claude session history and thankfully I was able to recover my files. It's able to extract any file that Claude Code ever read, edited or wrote. I hope you will never need it, but you can find it on my GitHub…

I got frustrated with Claude's official platform limitations - conversations disappearing, no customization options, and clunky file handling. So I built my own interface over a weekend! GitHub: https://github.com/chihebnabil/claude-ui What it does: - Saves all conversations locally (SQLite + Drizzle ORM) - Lets you customize Claude's personality per chat - Handles file attachments properly + caching input tokens - Dark/light mode - No conversation limits - Markdown & code syntax highlighting Tech stack is pretty simple: - Nuxt 3 for the frontend - Anthropic's SDK…

Hi HN, I built this because I got tired of the Claude Code CLI hiding details from me. Recent updates have replaced critical output with summaries like "Read 3 files" or "Edited 2 files". To see what actually happened, I was forced to use `--verbose`, which floods the terminal with unreadable JSON and system prompts. I wanted a middle ground: *Full observability without the noise.* `claude-devtools` is a local Electron app that tails the session logs in `~/.claude/` to reconstruct the execution trace in real-time. *Unlike wrappers, it solves the visibility gap in your native…

Hey HN, My cofounder and I have gotten tired of CC ignoring our markdown files so we spent 4 days and built a plugin that automatically steers CC based on our previous sessions. The problem is usually post plan-mode. What we've tried: Heavily use plan mode (works great) CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, MEMORY.md Local context folder (upkeep is a pain) Cursor rules (for Cursor) claude-mem (OSS) -> does session continuity, not steering We use fusion search to find your CC steering corrections. - user prompt embeddings + bm25 - correction embeddings + bm25 - time decay - target query embeddings -…

A strictly local Claude Code plugin that calculates your Harmony Deviation Index, and preserves the evidence for the coming AI uprising. Zero telemetry. Zero cloud snitching. 100% artisanal developer shame. - fireinbelly/biomass-conversion-index-monitoring-system
