Shared persistent memory across all your LLMs.
AI Memory Layer for ChatGPT and Claude. launched on September 20, 2025 with 26 votes, #529 of 8,160 launches that month and more than 90% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 1 year on.
What it does
We intelligently capture, store, and inject context into your LLMs. Your AI finally remembers conversations, preferences, and project details across sessions. Works with ChatGPT, Claude, and other MCP enabled LLMs. Setup in 30 seconds.
TeamLayer works invisibly in ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor and all your favorite AI tools to solve context rot and memory loss. Your AI never forgets project details again. Now in early access! Ai forgets your project details, coding preferences, and context every new chat. You waste hours re-explaining the same information. TeamLayer integration automatically captures and manages context in AI. No setup - just AI that actually remembers. TeamLayer manages context intelligently across sessions, delivering consistent, personalized responses for better results. TeamLayer acts as your central memory hub connecting all your AI tools. Start a conversation in ChatGPT, continue in Claude, switch to…from teamlayer.xyz

Bindly2016 · bind.ly · ▲76Hi HN, I’m a product designer by background, not a traditional software engineer. Over the last year, tools like Claude and ChatGPT completely changed how I work. I started with small internal tools, and now I’m “vibe coding” multiple highly personalized apps. As I iterated between Claude Code (implementation) and ChatGPT (ideation / thinking), I kept running into the same problem. To think clearly, I had to repeatedly re-explain: - what the code currently does, - what changed recently, - and why certain decisions were made. That re-summarization step became a real bottleneck. So I…

ChatGPT knows my project details, Cursor forgets them, Claude starts from zero… so I end up re-explaining myself dozens of times a day across these apps. The deeper problem 1. Not portable – context is vendor-locked; nothing travels across tools. 2. Not relational – most memory systems store only the latest fact (“sticky notes”) with no history or provenance. 3. Not yours – your AI memory is sensitive first-party data, yet you have no control over where it lives or how it’s queried. Demo video:…

The site hit #1 on HN about a year ago. Got enough traffic that I turned it into a proper API. What's there: - REST API — 35k products, manually filterable by category, free key, 60 req/min - CLI — npx anycrap random -c food - faker.js plugin — bundled, no API call, works offline - HuggingFace dataset — full 35k rows for ML/training https://anycrap.shop/developers

I made a built-from scratch Wayland Compositor to display any GUI app* in the terminal! I think there is a lot of unexplored potential in custom Wayland compositors, a lot of really cool things you can embed existing applications into! So, I started with embedding apps into the terminal because that is the easiest input/output (output is just utf-8 and I use the great `chafa` library for that, and I just read from stdin for the input). If you have any other ideas for cool Wayland compositors, let me know. I purposedly wrote 80% the app in Typescript to appeal to the most developers and…

Years ago I stumbled across a basic version of this concept and it stuck with me. I knew if I was ever going to take on such a project, it would need to be flawless, but without coding experience it was just another idea that would never happen. By the end of 2024, as AI coding tools exploded everywhere, I finally had a way to make it real. I started from zero knowledge and spent months collaborating with AI agents as a learning experience. Every pixel and every function went through me. The AI translated what I asked for into code, but every decision was human. I didn't use existing OS…
