Was getting annoyed copy-pasting stuff from websites into ChatGPT all the time, basically wished Cursor's CMD+K worked everywhere. So I built a little Chrome extension, InPageAI, that tries to do just that: https://inpageai.com Hit a shortcut on any page, it grabs the context automatically, and you can ask AI to summarize, explain, etc. You can also use it to write directly into input fields/text boxes. I was frustrated with how I share ideas online. LinkedIn/X forces you to compress everything into hot takes. Research papers require months of work. I made a tiny bookmarklet that opens ChatGPT in a new tab and auto-fills the prompt to summarize the current page you're on. I kept running into this annoying problem: I’d remember a really useful answer, but not where it was. ChatGPT? Claude? Gemini? No idea. So I’d end up digging through all of them or just rewriting the prompt. Built this to fix that. It’s a Chrome extension that indexes chats locally and lets you search across them all in one place. Once it’s indexed, search is basically instant. Still early. UIs change and break things sometimes, so it’s a bit fragile in places. Curious if other people have the same issue or if it’s just me jumping between tools too much.
