Products that do what LambdaCms, a high-performance CMS in Haskell does
We have released a high-performance CMS (2-10ms in our tests) CMS, that needs to be set-up by a programmer. Enjoy! EDIT: Since links in a text post do not become clickable, I've moved them to the comments.

What's your tool chain for data and document processing? - jq is great, but limited to JSON; and jQuery limited to HTML; templating systems get messy for non-trivial logic; TypeScript lacks pattern matching and schema support. So I built Lambda — an expressive functional language that combines the power of Lisp, TypeScript, and many DSLs like jq, jQuery, RelaxNG, etc. It has a lightweight 9 MB runtime, built from scratch in C/C++, that provides an end-to-end document processing pipeline (parse → validate/query/transform → layout → render/view). Internally, Lambda parse…

Hi HN! During the last few years, I worked on a few applications built with Go, running on AWS Lambda. As I got to know the platform better, I started to find Go & Lambda to be a really productive combination. The applications were fast, and they ended up being much cheaper to run than what my team & I had built before. It’s probably not the best platform for _every_ application, but I was surprised at how much of our workload worked well on it. As we brought new engineers on to our team and helped them get up to speed with the stack, I found that we were covering a lot of the same topics…

Merry Christmas, everyone! Now you can compile Haskell code on Windows 11 ARM. It will run full speed if you use UTM/QEmu on Apple silicon. :-) It's a very draft version, but it works well. Any ideas?

For the past few months I've been building a lot of things with LLMs (GPT-3, Codex, etc.) as I've been trying to push them to their limits (especially towards applying them to the tabular data domain) When working on this, I've found there are some common patterns for solving problems (templating, chaining, functional-programming style operations, etc.) As I've iterated, I've come to believe that a functional style interface is likely going to power a new wave of systems I'm calling "prompt-machines"(systems where the core new unit of work is a "named" LLM prompt, extending the "function"…
