Hi HN, This is my attempt to fix groggy mornings by lowering my bedroom CO2 from 1700 ppm to ~900 ppm. I designed a simple, 3D-printed fan duct that directs air under the door to improve air circulation. A note on the design process: I used CadQuery, a Python library for creating parametric 3D models. I didn't know tools like this existed and highly recommend it if you can program; it turned out to be more convenient than manually iterating on prototypes in a GUI. Hi HN, I’m part of the team building Sniphi. Sniphi is a modular digital nose that uses gas sensors and machine-learning models to convert volatile organic compound (VOC) data into a machine-readable signal that can be integrated into existing QA, monitoring, or automation systems. The system is currently in an R&D phase, but already exists as working hardware and software and is being tested in real environments. We built a pocket-sized optical breath analyzer based on an optical sensor for measuring CO2 and O2. It streams CPET metrics in real time (VO2, VCO2, VE, RER, Tv etc) for breath-by-breath analysis.
