Hey guys, I built a route planner that is mostly focused on bike touring and using existing bike infrastructure. For each request you're shown what bike tracks/trails your route uses and can further explore them by showing them on map or going to the official trail route. The main idea for the app is to have a friendly and easy to use planner that would make heavy use of official bike trails data (mainly from OpenStreetMap) and make it easy to plan a longer trip using the best possible bike routes out there. Currently the app only works for the Euro region but I'm planning to add North…

Transition▲76Hey HN, I’m Alex, a triathlete, dad, and software engineer. I’ve been building Transition — an app for triathletes that creates adaptive training plans based on your goals, schedule, and workout data (Garmin, Strava, etc). Most plans are static, which never really worked for me as a parent and someone with an unpredictable schedule. Transition adjusts every week using your actual workouts and progress, so the plan changes when you miss a session, set a new PR, or need to shift your priorities. I built this because nothing else was flexible enough for my life, and I’m curious if others have…

Runo 2.0▲132I built Runo after years of inconsistent marathon training. GPS watches tell you your pace AFTER it's too late. So I made a simple metronome that plays a beat at your target cadence (steps per minute). New in 2.0: Apple Watch haptics (run to the beat without headphones), Strava sync, and social features. 4.7 on App Store, 10k+ runners. Would love feedback from the HN community.

I started running 5 years ago and it completely changed me. Recently, I decided to train for my first marathon and needed something more than just tracking my runs to motivate me. I noticed all the apps currently available are just trackers and route finders, but nothing has solved the problem of consistency. So I thought of combining the basic idea of the Forest app with running and created a small app for myself which would reward me with plants and trees for my runs. I am not a mobile developer but then i came across Capacitor. Since I knew Next.js and have been working with it for the…
